Once you realize Hyperliquid is building the everything exchange, and cross-margin brings it all together, you realize that every other competitor is playing a much narrower, far less defensible game.
On Hyperliquid, perps, spot, options, predictions, RWAs, and related markets are not separate products so much as expressions of a single, unified trading experience powered by a shared risk engine.
At scale, the resulting liquidity and capital-efficiency flywheel should produce a winner-take-most market structure, leaving those who didn’t see the bigger picture fighting for scraps in siloed markets.
Excerpt below on the approaching $HYPE endgame over the coming years.

Proud of my friends at Unit and Hype! Impressive work. Full disclosure we are long $HYPE tokens.

Most people view Hyperliquid upgrades in isolation. That’s a mistake.
Jeff’s vision is composability at the core:
HIP-1 → assets
HIP-2 → liquidity
HIP-3 → builder-deployed perps
HIP-4 → outcome markets (prediction + non-linear payoffs)
> HyperEVM → programmability
> Portfolio Margin → shared risk engine
> USDH → settlement layer
People can hedge outcome positions with perps. With outcome markets, traders can express views without liquidation risk (which is huge). Through HIP-3, builders can spin up new markets that instantly tap into existing liquidity.
And with HyperEVM, you can build strategies on top that tie everything together.
Most people still look at this and see features being shipped over time. But it’s not a product roadmap. It’s a system coming online piece by piece.
The house of all finance.

When I pointed out problems with Tarun's understanding of Hyperliquid, he challenged me to read the rest of his paper, suggesting I was too dumb to understand it.
I don't like obscurantism or gatekeeping. So I did what he asked. Here's what I think:
* The paper is wrong about what ADL is, even more fundamentally than what I pointed out yesterday.
* The paper proposes that exchanges should sometimes take on platform-level insolvency risk, which I think is not a good idea.
* And the core “ADL trilemma” is basically a restatement of its own assumptions, including an explicit assumption that insurance funds won't work.

Replying to @danrobinson
You still didn’t read the theoretical results (skill issue?), are acting like an asshole and pretending you’re totally right without more than a little substance

Extremely good write up.
"If the world’s largest exchange can suffer the steepest price collapse in crypto history — and choose to downplay the fact that its prices fell far below its peers — it exposes every participant in the crypto industry to an unavoidable systemic risk."
I asked a friend at a TradFi market maker what he thought.
His response: “If this happened to Nasdaq or NYSE, the SEC would’ve been at their door within the hour.”
The industry deserves answers from Binance. Serious investors won’t touch a market where flash crashes can happen on the venue that defines price and settlement, with zero follow up explanation afterwards.
Onchain is the only path forward.
We have to move on from black box finance, or these assets will end up offering no value to the world.

My friend mistakenly sent mid 6 figs of USDC (basically owned by @Coinbase) to his @CoinbaseInsto Prime deposit address on Base, a chain wholly controlled by Coinbase. They are claiming they can’t recover it.
This is not a contract address that is chain specific, they obviously have the private key, but they only accept USDC deposits on mainnet.
The fact that they don’t support their own chain on Prime is laughable; the kicker is they have a recovery service for retail but not for Prime. They obviously can and should recover it.

We asked @lukecannon727 if he held all his @HyperliquidX airdrop or sold some of it.
"My only regret is basically not liquidating other assets fast enough to buy at TGE."
"It was pretty sizable."
"I'm still holding, I've bought more."

Dear @heyibinance and @cz_binance,
From the outside it appears that @binance has turned into a "pump and dump" engine that is knowingly harming retail investors and creating an unhealthy memecoin market for its own benefit
Both $ACT and $PNUT which just received spot listings on your exchange were low cap tokens with poor distributions that have now increased tremendously in value despite being "dead" just hours ago
We can only assume that Binance is specifically targeting low cap "dead" memecoins that are controlled by a small number of insiders because these are the ones that are able to pay the largest percentage of the supply as the listing fee which Binance then "dumps" to generate revenue
If true this behavior incentivizes new memecoins to have unfair launches that line the pockets of insiders like VCs, CEXs, KOLs, and market makers who all participate in an engine of "pumping" and then "dumping" or "rugging" the memecoin
I hereby issue a petition for Binance to make the following changes to its memecoin listing process:
1. Publicly disclose the terms of the listing fee that was paid
2. If part of the listing fee was paid in tokens share the schedule in which they will be dumped
3. Prioritize listing organic, bottom up, decentralized, community driven memecoins with healthy distributions (for example $DOG)

When you thought it couldn't get any worse for @Scroll_ZKP
Team also has to sybil their own projects airdrop
teapawt.net/Andrey_10gwei/status/1…
Positioning team wallets tied to Scroll multisig farming 50k - 1M+ marks each = more dilution to users
Average marks per user is around 300
Allocated 5.5% to Binance so Binance whales deposit $10M-$30M worth of BNB to turbo farm it in a week
Can also sell pre-TGE in pre-market
teapawt.net/lookonchain/status/184…
This shi is gonna have even less users than Starknet after TGE
Scroll founder's wallet with 1million+ marks. Scroll = ZKscam 2.0?
Teams are distributing drops to their wallets, a fact. I will provide evidence of @Scroll_ZKP wallets with 10-50-100k and even 1mln marks. Retweet it ->

The tier-1 listings situation with $DOG is simple
So far the tier-1 CEXs have chosen to ignore $DOG despite it being the highest market cap memecoin ever to not have a single tier-1 listing
Instead they have chosen to list scammy insider $15M dog coins
So be it
We will show up here every single day and fire off millions more tweets until every single one of them has listed us
Every penny higher our market cap goes without a tier-1 listing the more valid the point we are making becomes
I don't care if we have to send $DOG to $100B first
They all must bend the knee
The $DOG Army has 10.5% of all memecoin mindshare
This is our app now
And don't mistake this as being about number go up
We could have set aside the 10% of our supply and been listed everywhere by now but we didn't because somebody had to take a stand against the blind greed and corruption in our industry
100% of the $DOG supply was airdropped for free in a 100% volunteer initiative with no team allocation
Every wallet received the same amount regardless of whether it was a whale who held millions of dollars of blue-chip inscriptions or a minnow who inscribed 3 random JPEGs
If to launch a successful memecoin you have to team up with CEXs, VCs, KOLs, and market makers who all take their cut and then dump on retail then what is the point of retail supporting the memecoin asset class at all in the first place
Memecoins will become the same utility token grift all over again
CEXs are intentionally making the memecoin market very unhealthy and the Free & Fair movement led by $DOG is going to put a stop to it
All a memecoin should ever be is a picture, a ticker, and a bunch of degens having fun trying to bull post it to the moon
This is the vision for $DOG which was the same vision as BTC in its early days
Memecoins should be the one safe place for retail to be able to speculate without insiders rigging everything
Repost if you believe that instead of fighting the Free & Fair movement @binance, @coinbase, @okx, @krakenfx, @Bybit_Official, @kucoincom, @HTX_Global, and @cryptocom join it and list $DOG the #1 memecoin on Bitcoin!
Repost if you believe that @MustStopMurad's thesis aligns with this and that he should join the $DOG Army!
Repost if you are ready to send $DOG to the moon with or without the tier-1 CEXs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A-Class 👌🏼 with Aethir - Edge computing for AR/VR Games
Metaverse gaming experiences that leverage augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) headsets are projected to grow rapidly. However, such gamified experiences require an extremely high data streaming bandwidth 📡
Gaming edge computing is an excellent example of how decentralized gaming technologies can support and power futuristic game forms.
🎮 Edge computing has a significant competitive advantage over traditional clouds when it comes to AR/VR game streaming. That’s because edge networks can process the necessary data through Graphic Processing Units (GPUs) closest to the end-user.
👉 For example, imagine a player in New York City, another in Tokyo, and a third in London all participating in the same AR/VR game session. With edge computing, each player's actions are processed in real-time by GPUs located closest to them, minimizing latency and ensuring a smooth gaming experience.
🤖 Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an essential component of Web 3.0 metaverse experiences that require significant real-time data processing. In AR/VR gaming, the ability to instantly respond to user decisions heavily depends on advanced AI algorithms. The processing power of edge computing is a game-changer for real-time gaming solutions that require immense GPU power.

Our Aethir checker node sale has been a huge success 🔥
🔹 20000+ checker node owners for our decentralized infrastructure
🔹 Over 73,000 node licenses sold, valued at 41,000+ ETH
This achievement marks a significant step towards decentralization by distributing nodes throughout the community.
To ensure the fair distribution of all node license NFTs and take a snapshot of current node license holders, we will pause the node sale on May 8, 2024.
We express our heartfelt thanks to our partners and Aethirians, our community, for their constant support in our pursuit of decentralized ownership and a trustless ecosystem 🙏
Moving forward:
1️⃣ Aethir node sale closes on May 8, with a week left for community to purchase node licenses.
2️⃣ Visit checker.aethir.com to purchase node licenses.
3️⃣ We will snapshot current license owners for the upcoming $ATH token generation event.
