Give people their flowers while they can still smell them. 💐 At the 20th Annual @MylesClassic , we had the privilege of honoring three men whose IMPACT reaches far beyond basketball. 🏆 Leroy Hurt — @Caballaz2005 _ Director / @OTLadyBulldawgs Coach An OG in this game. For more than two decades, Leroy has poured into young people and helped countless student-athletes earn opportunities to play college basketball on scholarship. Two State Championships are part of his résumé, but the generations of lives impacted are the real accomplishment. 🏆 Ryo Koyama— Former Palo Alto Midnight Coach & Director Ryo has always moved with integrity, character and purpose. He consistently did a lot with a little, built teams that competed, and has remained a genuine supporter and resource for young people. Basketball, business or life—Ryo has always found a way to help. 🏆 Chris Wisner — @LathropThunder Director / Coach Chris has helped put his area on the map by putting his time, resources and heart behind his words. He coaches, mentors, creates opportunities and supports young people well beyond the basketball court. THAT is impact. The Myles McGowan Impact Awards aren’t simply about accomplishments. They’re about recognizing people who consistently pour into others, often without recognition or applause. Myles continues to remind us that your time here matters. How you treat people matters. Who you help matters. The love you leave behind matters. So we stopped. We said thank you. We gave some flowers. We shed some tears. And we celebrated three deserving men who have been a blessing to their communities for years. When people have been a blessing to others, acknowledge the blessing. 🙏🏾❤️ Congratulations Leroy, Ryo and Chris. Your flowers are well deserved. And Myles… thank you for continuing to give us a reason to love on people, recognize people and remind them that their impact matters. ❤️ LET’S PLAY 4 MYLES M.Y.L.E.S. — Make Your Legacy Everyday Somehow. #MylesMcGowanCoachesClassic #GemsInTheGym #ImpactAwards #LetsPlay4Myles #CommunityImpact
