Professional softball players are pushing to unionize as the sport continues to grow. Three players told FOS they want a seat at the table as investment, attendance, and viewership rise in the AUSL, which has yet to recognize the union.

Professional softball deserves a fully professional union. That's why an overwhelming supermajority of AUSL players have signed union cards to form the AUSLPA.

We've asked the league to recognize our union and come to the bargaining table so we can negotiate our first CBA before the 2027 season. For the players who came before us. For the players of today. For every young athlete who dreams of playing professionally.
