I will never take him for granted.
Sometimes you don’t appreciate that you are living in the glory days
How have little old Aston Villa have a top 5 manager in the whole world? 👑
Will also be the last…

The best goalkeeper in the clubs history.
Never did I think Villa would have the best in the world in any position, but for 2 years we did.
Worlds number 1 🫶
Aston Villa can confirm that Emi Martínez has completed a permanent transfer to Chelsea.
Emi joined the club from Arsenal in 2020 and has been a commanding presence in goal throughout his time at the club, which culminated in him helping Villa win the UEFA Europa League in May.
He earned his first international caps while at Aston Villa, going on to win two Copa América titles and a FIFA World Cup with Argentina.
He was also twice named the world's number one goalkeeper, picking up successive Yashin Trophies in 2023 and 2024 as well as two The Best FIFA Football awards.
With his stellar performances and infectious competitive nature, Emi will always be remembered for his part in our recent journey and success and leaves Aston Villa with the very best wishes of everyone at the football club.
Is it outrageous to say that a front four of:
Jackson
Mbaye Manzambi McGinn
Is better than
Watkins
Rogers Buendia McGinn
???

🚨🔵 Chelsea are in negotiations with Emiliano ‘Dibu’ Martínez camp over possible late move.
The Argentinian goalkeeper has been offered to #CFC as Suzuki will be the starting GK at Villa, as @David_Ornstein reports.
Talks ongoing; Chelsea considering this option. Dibu, keen.

Aston Villa can confirm that Lucas Digne has completed a permanent transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
The defender joined Villa in January 2022 from Everton and would go on to make 182 appearances in claret and blue, scoring four goals and registering 24 assists.
Digne was a key part of the side that won the UEFA Europa League last season before helping France reach the semi finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Still potentially in need of one, if anyone knows anyone

Anyone win in the Super Cup ballot and not able to go?
I’ve got a ticket but my old man didn’t win one. Had to go Istanbul without him, hoping he can get one for Salzburg 🤞
Equally, if anyone knows a trustworthy website to buy resale tickets that would’ve appreciated
