Same Adventure, New Chapter. Moving forward we will be an independent vendor working will all of the helmet manufacturers now, so that will be opening some new doors. Lora, my beautiful wife has started working with me full time. The studio is growing and I needed help. She is an invaluable asset to what I do. She will be helping with organizing, prep, masking all the fun stuff we do. In addition to that she will be doing social media stuff. Alot of what I do is secret so we'll show the old stuff and new stuff as we can. Looking forward to what the future holds.

Late night picture of Houston's helmets on the rack, drying after clear. Earth, Mars & Jupiter. I was very excited to send these out. It's hard to have the helmets and know what they look like before anyone else sees them. Hoping after they are funally unveiled everyone likes them at the end of the day. Hard to believe last time Game Day was in Utah I painted live on set. That whole week was crazy to make that happen. No sleep trying to get ready for it. It was so cold that morning 41 degrees I think. I had a heater on my compressor so it wouldn't shut off, if the oil in it gets too cold it gets to thick and shuts off. I had to over reduce the paint so it would flow better in the cold. I had hand warmers in my hand trying to keep my hand and airbrush warm. It was dark when I started painting and the sun came up while I was painting messing with the light source. Thousands of fans yelling & screaming.. Oh, and I was painting live on National TV! No pressure.. lol. A hundred things could of gone wrong.. make or break moment. But it didn't, everything worked. I created a pretty cool helmet and had a big moment for my family. Still seems surreal.. probably didn't have enough to think about what was actually happening. In the image I stopped painting to talk to Jess Simms. I had my hands in my pockets holding hand warmers trying to get feeling back.. so many things behind the scenes.. Helping Veterans Find Their Purpose WarriorRising.org – at United States

This was the final concept for Boise's 40th anniversary of the Blue helmet. It took 3 trys to get the right look of turf. But when I pulled the masking on this one I knew this was it. I couldn't wait to send this video to Sterling. I was little kid excited! Lol Helping Veterans Find Their Purpose WarriorRising.org – at United States

This was the first painted concept after the marker drawing. There were ony 2 changes. We lowered the vent in the back so the built by Houston decal could be placed there. We also put the UH logo on the sides. This helmet went to Houston. Auction for the second concept helmet. ebay.io/m/At1YcU Helping Veterans Find Their Purpose WarriorRising.org – at United States

Houston's first concept. December 2024 I think is when Andrew Johnson the Assistant Athletics Director for Equipment Operations for Houston called about a helmet for 2026. He said the idea was an astronaut helmet because of their relationship with NASA and being "Space City USA". Pretty simple, but how do we make it cool? I had 2025 to think it over. I was lucky enough to go to the Smithsonian in DC for a Warrior Rising event. I got to see so much history of flight and space including Neil Armstrong's suit he wore on the moon. So the basic idea was there, just missing than pop. Then duh, the reflection, thats where the something extra comes from.. so this is the original layout or concept so I could get a real visual of how it would look. Originally I had the moon in the foreground with Earth in the background. But the more I looked out it I decided it would be easier if I switched them. Sometimes production makes the decisions. The Old fashioned way, marker on a white helmet, then more research. Looking back I wish I would of kept this but it was sanded off and painted. 2 more concepts after this then production. This is the final approved concept helmet for Houston. 2 were painted, I kept one and the school got the other one. After this was approved, about a week before we started painted they had the idea to do the whole solar system. There were only 15 helmets with Earth on them and it was a lottery of who got what. So if you missed out, here's your chance. For sale on Ebay.. ebay.io/m/At1YcU Helping Veterans Find Their Purpose WarriorRising.org – at United States

The Gridiron Galaxy Helmets from the Sun to Pluto. This is the completed set we sent to be built to send to Houston for the photo shoot to unveil them. Its hard to believe I had a $40,000 Pluto helmet laying on ground.. lol Helping Veterans Find Their Purpose WarriorRising.org

Jupiter, from the Gridiron Galaxy Helmets that the University of Houston wore. 8 of these were painted, probably the most difficult of all of them. I of course would of liked to spent more time on them.. but then I'd never get done. When you have to paint that many helmets you have to find that balance of production & fine art. It's difficult as an artist to say good enough, but you have to finish and hope the fans like it. Another peak into handpainted helmets.. The world of art, sports & collectibles is a very interesting thing to be part of. There are just things I get used to... and then there are things that really suprise me. Right after Houston unveiled their helmets for Saturdays game they had an MVP party and auctioned of the Pluto helmet. 1of1 that quarterback Conner Weigman would were in the game. It sold for $40,000.... for a football helmet that I painted. I don't even know what to say to that. Im very happy to work with Houston Football and Andrew Johnson. @connerweigman what was it like to wear that!? – at United States
