1/6 I’ve recently been targeted by what I suspect are mostly generative AI bots masquerading as animal rights activists. I engaged initially and I’m glad I did - I learned the vast majority of ‘activists’ appear to be bots using #animalwelfare to drive a racist, Pro-MAGA Agenda
5/6 With elections this year, risks increase, as specific countries will be targeted to drive political agendas. My ‘crime’ was delivering professional animal welfare education in China - this outraged activists claiming to want better animal welfare in a China (go figure… 🤷♀️)
6/6 Please don’t encourage supporters to ‘contact’ others, share abuse images or target individuals. By doing so you may be inadvertently promoting animal abuse content & racism - a reputational risk for you & your charity. Please engage responsibly 😊
Top Tip - if you want my support encouraging your supporters/bots to call me ‘spineless’, and ‘corrupt’ and send me animal abuse images probably isn’t the best approach. I know it’s old fashioned but may I suggest a polite email instead?
