A poll by Eshel and @AWiderBridge shows increased antisemitism experienced by LGBTQ+ Jews since Oct. 7th.
Of the 328 surveyed, 67% faced antisemitism, 82% experienced online abuse, and 43% left LGBTQ+ online spaces due to hostility.

Many Israelis gather in Hostage Square, remembering Ariel & Kfir Bibas, kidnapped alive into Gaza & brutally murdered in captivity. Two innocent, beautiful children with their whole lives ahead of them came back in coffins. The fate of their mother, Shiri, is still unknown 💔🎗️🇮🇱

Opposing calls for genocide against Jews shouldn’t be difficult or controversial.

If you’re protesting an Israeli restaurant in Philly because of their supposed ties to “genocide” you’ve truly lost the plot. They serve Hummus, not Hamas.

My plea to all Americans:
—Learn the history of the Jewish people
—Reject the antisemitic double standard being applied to the plight of Jewish victims
—Understand that we defend Israel’s existence as we fear a world where the place of refuge for Jewish people no longer exists

Amid the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, NYC has seen a staggering surge in antisemitic incidents. A shocking 200%.
The world preaches “Never Again” but fails to practice it.
Hatred for both the Jewish community and the Jewish State is surging on college campuses, on social media platforms, and on the streets.

I voted for the censure resolution.
Calling for the end of Israel as a Jewish State, through the insidious phrase “from the river to the sea,” crosses a line of hate speech that no public official should ever cross.
Congress has a right to take a principled stand against hate speech calling for the destruction of the world’s only Jewish nation-state.
Representative Tlaib invoked the phrase “from the River to Sea,” which is a call for the end of Israel as a Jewish State. That these words appear in the founding charter of Hamas tells you everything you need to know about its meaning.
Representative Mast has compared Palestinian civilians to Nazis, denying them the humanitarian protection of international law.
I will vote to condemn all forms of hate—from the far left and from the far right, against Israelis and against Palestinians.

Hamas in its own words:
October 7 is “just the first time and there will be a second, a third, a fourth…”
Hamas is openly admitting to the world that it will never abide by a ceasefire.
It will keep slaughtering Jews until the Jewish State itself is “annihilated.”
Why does the world expect Israel to sign a suicide pact and become the author of its own annihilation?

During our most recent mission to Israel we joined the LGBTQ community in Jerusalem for their pride march.
I brought home one of the flags from that march to give to the @secondgentleman Doug Emhoff

Justice Sotomayor, dissenting: "LGBT people have existed for all of human history. And as sure as they have existed, others have sought to deny their existence, and to exclude them from public life. Those who would subordinate LGBT people have often done so with the backing of law."

We are outraged by this homophobic threat, and thank @OrlandoPolice for its investigation and @orlandomayor for speaking out. We stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ communities, and all communities targeted by hate. Bigotry against any of us is bigotry against all of us.
