DFA DENIES PH-TAIWAN COOPERATION ON UNDERSEA CABLES, GRAY-ZONE ACTIVITIES
UPDATE: The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) clarifies that the Philippines has no cooperative arrangement with Taiwan on subsea cables or other critical undersea infrastructure, reaffirming Manila’s longstanding One China Policy.
The DFA made the clarification after Philippine Deputy Chief of Mission in Washington Felipe Carino III talked about exploring deeper cooperation with Taiwan on protecting undersea cables and addressing gray-zone activities at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
The department said that was no mention of cooperation with Taiwan on gray-zone activities in the discussion. @newswatchplusph

Chinese state media provides a video of their POV of the Second Thomas Shoal provisional agreement. Note the proximity and quantity of CCG small boats/RHIBs to BRP Sierra Madre + the use of a Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to observe the resupply mission over the LST.
With China's permission, the Philippines delivered daily necessities to its illegally "grounded" vessel at Ren'ai Jiao on Wednesday. But the #Philippines again denies needing #China's approval for resupply. An exclusive video obtained by the Global Times shows that during the resupply operation on Wednesday, the Philippine vessel Iplp No.1 cooperated well with the CCG. It's clear who is lying. #RenaiJiao globaltimes.cn/page/202610/1…

A reserved collection of Japan’s top air defense system and ISR firms resided behind this week’s JSDF reception in Manila. The scene would have been inconceivable a year ago, now made possible by recent export guideline revisions. My latest with USNI News:
