F4i guys, tech question: The stock regulator rectifier is notorious for burning up wiring plugs. Solutions? Work-arounds? Will a 636 recifier or other work if the wiring is adapted?

#6 ignition coil keeps melting. I mean full on melt down. Top breaks apart when removing.
