Iola’s Trunk or Treat at Riverside Park was a blast! Found a few bugs to stomp on the build (like the figurehead not being fully secured and attempting to take flight at 45mph) but for the most part, went well. Waiting on official attendance numbers from the Chamber.
Brain box installed - lighting controller, if you must know - and she’s ready for tomorrow, mechanically and electrically. Will spend the morning adding the crew, and then we will be at Medicalodge’s Trunk or Treat from 4-6p, then Sat we will be at Iola’s Trunk or Treat!
Shore power and batteries rigged up; roof rack and panels is the next big hurdle for electrical. Today will be doing ceiling rust remediation, possibly some 12V electrical and comms, maybe even furnishings… we’ll see.
Last call - I have to order the chocolate tomorrow and we have about 2/3 of what we need for an order large enough to cover expected turnout of 1600 kids. Please, consider donating if you can - it means a lot.

Note that fundraiser for candy I’m doing is partly because I don’t buy Lindt or RS candies; but also because RS donates a few pounds a year total, including Easter, to local children’s events.
I gave away nearly 70 pounds at Iola’s Trunk or Treat last year and 40 pounds in 2024.
