- A statement has been issued concerning the feud between Fatai Okoya and his father, Chief Rasaq Okoya, following Fatai’s TikTok Live interview.
- According to the statement, Fatai Okoya fell out with his father before he married Shade Okoya.
- The statement revealed that Chief Rasaq Okoya has publicly stated that any child who does not respect him and abide by his wishes is on their own.
- It was revealed that Fatai Okoya is not Chief Rasaq Okoya’s first child, but his third child, who has benefited greatly from his father despite their fallout.
- Fatai Okoya lives in a four-bedroom apartment provided by his father and has been receiving financial support for his medical bills.
- The statement further revealed that over 40 years ago, when Fatai Okoya fell out with his father, family friends intervened.
- They were surprised by Fatai’s demands but pleaded with his father to settle his demands, which he eventually did
- It was also revealed that Shade Okoya was only introduced to Fatai Okoya this year, during Chief Rasaq Okoya’s 86th birthday celebration.

Ewo the matter long. She was tricked back to Naija ni o. The man said they needed to enroll their older daughter into a boarding school in Nigeria for proper Islamic upbringing and what not, she agreed. Then he said they will all come back to Nigeria for the daughter’s enrollment so she can settle in properly. He followed her back to Nigeria, they stayed in Ibadan. Then the next day she went to visit her parents in Osun state with the kids and spent 7days. She came back to Ibadan to his absence. He didn’t even enroll the daughter in the school before going back. She called his work place in Uk and they confirmed he has returned to work. Afterwards he sent her divorced papers via WhatsApp 😭
