Write a short forgiveness note for past careless errors, release heavy old regrets to walk lightly toward tomorrow. Stop clinging tightly to old faults, head for an unburdened future full of soft warm gentle hope.

My cab driver (yes, yellow cabs still exist) in Philly this morning — late 60s early 70s — got a call from his wife. Just checking he made it to work okay. Told him to have a beautiful day. Small moment. Very sweet.

Wow! Not bad when up at 5:45am and flying across country. Shows the value of prioritizing sleep, proper hydration and no alcohol.

Humana beat on earnings, but the stock still fell. Investors zeroed in on two things: Star Ratings pressure cutting into bonus payments, and cost favorability that showed up almost entirely among members with value-based providers. The market isn't just pricing profit anymore. It's pricing whether a plan's approach to risk and quality actually holds up.

Excited to see @reveleer recognized by @IncMagazine in their #Inc5000 ranking. Coming in at 905.

63% of physicians now use AI tools in some capacity, up from 47% just nine months ago. That's one of the fastest adoption curves I've seen in healthtech. The pace is the encouraging part. The harder question is whether trust, validation, and oversight are growing at the same speed. Adoption isn't the finish line. Trustworthy adoption is.

New CMS data: dispute volume under the No Surprises Act rose 16% in the second half of 2025, and arbitration payouts hit close to $15 billion for the year — three times 2024's total. The law protects patients from surprise bills. But the process built to enforce it is becoming its own cost driver. Good policy still needs a process that scales with it.

Cigna's Q2 story wasn't premium hikes. It was employer plans getting healthier: GLP-1 cost growth decelerated, outpatient spending came in lower than expected, and profit followed. When medical trend actually slows instead of just being priced around, the whole system feels it. Worth watching as the rest of 2026 plays out.

Every payer and provider we surveyed this year has adopted AI. Only 35% have a documented process to catch when it's wrong. That gap — adoption outpacing governance — is the real risk in value-based care right now, not the technology itself.

We built EVE Hybrid AI on a simple premise: gen AI alone is too unpredictable for regulated HC decisions & rules alone are too rigid to keep up. Pairing a generative evidence-extraction agent w/ a library of clinician-authored, deterministic clinical formulas gets you both.

The best decision I made this year wasn't a strategy call. It was admitting a plan wasn't working before the data forced my hand. Waiting for certainty usually just delays an obvious decision. Leadership is deciding early enough that you still have options.

Q2 payer earnings are in. UnitedHealth's net income spiked almost 62% while revenue stayed essentially flat, and Cigna, Elevance, Molina, and Centene all followed with beat-and-raise quarters. That's pricing discipline and cost management doing the work.
