LET THERE BE LIGHT IN BAMUTAKUDDE!
Today we switched on the first 12 solar street lights in Bamutakudde Model Village!
We have partnered with Genevat Solutions (Ruaga) who gave us the lights at HALF PRICE and gave us a full year to pay — true partnership for community development!
Our dream is 50 lights to cover every street and home. We have started with 12.
Bamutakudde is no longer in the dark! We are looking for partners in actualizing this dream. Come join us on the lighting our homes and streets.

We who used to go to All Saints Nakasero would occasionally attend fellowship at Watoto, mostly for the music.Anyway we started using papa & mama for youth fellowship leads to which Archbishop Orombi said "Why are you creating parents out of peers?

Let me say this, because it’s deeply personal to me. When I first found out my baby girl is autistic, I was terrified. I actually cried. Parents with children on the spectrum understand that initial wave of fear. Looking back, damn was I so ignorant #Autismrun2026

You would think you’ve seen it all until you see a Manchester United-supporting pastor and an Arsenal-supporting pastor using Bible scriptures to banter each other right on the pulpit.
Even the Word of God has entered football rivalry. 😭😂

KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING 🙏🦍
Thank you to everyone who has voted for me as a Top 5 CNN Hero of 2026. Your support has been overwhelming.
Many of you have asked what is next. The @CNN Hero of the Year is decided purely by public voting, and we are now in the voting period every single day until November 29th.
This is where consistency wins. We need your 10 votes every day.
I know it is a big ask, but I have learned from the communities around Bwindi that when we do small things together every day, big change happens.
Could you please make this part of your morning routine?

Your vote is a vote for the endangered mountain gorillas, for the health of their human neighbors, and for the One Health approach that connects us all.
From my heart, and on behalf of our team at @CTPHuganda and @GCCoffee1 , thank you 🙏🏾

Fellow Ugandans, why aren’t we talking about this lady enough? 👀
Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka has been nominated as a CNN Hero, and she’s now among the TOP 5! 🇺🇬
Yes, a Ugandan is among the top five CNN Heroes, and we have an opportunity to bring this recognition home!
For those who don’t know, Dr. Gladys is Uganda’s first wildlife veterinarian. Through her work, she has dedicated her life to wildlife conservation, protecting mountain gorillas and putting Uganda on the global map.
She’s also consistently featured on major international media platforms, telling Uganda’s conservation story and promoting our tourism.
Honestly, if we are looking for a person to appoint as Uganda’s Tourism and Conservation Ambassador, her name deserves to be in that conversation.
But first, let’s get her this CNN Heroes award!
Ugandans, let’s show up! You have 10 times a day.
Vote here: cnn.com/world/heroes/vote
Let’s bring this one home! 🇺🇬
