Industrial chicken farming is one of the biggest threats to our rivers. Millions of tonnes of chicken manure are polluting our waterways, fuelling algal blooms and choking the life out of our rivers.
If you buy around 30 million chickens a year - like Nando’s - the public deserves to know one thing:

At the Knockando burn caustic chemicals have killed wild fish, birds of prey and aquatic life. The @DailyMail enquired but were told by SEPA that no such event has occurred.
We’re here to tell you it has, and show the devastating causes.

Bottom of the Itchen. There is currently Atlantic salmon poaching occurring from Woodmill up into river side park.
There is a ‘day camp’ in the wood (red dot) catching and killing incredibly rare, spawning chalkstream salmon.
If you see these men call 999 and @EnvAgency
Whilst CEO of @thameswater Chris Weston is on on your board of directors no one should be buying fishing from you.
You should be ashamed.

He’s also a director of @Sportquest_Hols — selling elite fishing trips to unspoiled waters around the world..
This is a conflict we cannot ignore..
