In the latest Avengers: Doomsday promo, Cap summons Mjolnir and asks Thor if it bothers him. Thor replies, “You know it does.”
But neither of these reactions feels right for their characters.
Steve wouldn’t deliberately rub his ability to wield Mjolnir in Thor’s face, and Thor wouldn’t resent Steve for being worthy.
This feels like a classic Marvel misdirect.
What if that’s actually Loki disguised as Steve?
Loki’s plan could be to impersonate Cap to draw out Doom, but Thor knows the truth and hates the plan because Loki intends to sacrifice himself AGAIN.
Thor isn’t upset with Cap. He’s upset because he knows exactly what his brother is planning.
