That’s literally what Tifa did in Gongaga when she tried to kiss Cloud after he told her that his mind was falling apart from degradation and that he was having identity/memory issues. You literally hate Cloti.

Now I wonder who begged the unwell Cloud to kiss her, fully knowing that there was something seriously wrong with him Was it Aerith?

you won’t see aerith trying to kiss cloud once btw, she knows he’s not mentally ok and knows where the boundaries are. tifa not only tries to kiss him RIGHT AFTER HE TELLS HER HE’S NOT OK but upon failing the first time she INSISTS for a second. pressuring bc she’s just desperate

“aerith takes advantage of a mentally unwell cloud” bitch aerith is the one holding back her feelings and wanting cloud to get his shit together first while tifa tries to kiss cloud as soon as he tells her there’s something utterly wrong with him. welcome to your ship, it STINKS

By default, Cloud is pointed towards Aerith (zoom-in on the gaming map if you don’t believe me) But even if you go the secondary Tifa route, it will still showcase #Clerith as the non-optional couple #FF7R

The central theme of the Remake trilogy has been changing fate. I think it's inarguable that altering Aerith's fate has been repeatedly mentioned by the very same developers. What blows my mind is why some fans, almost universally mentioning Tifa by name or implication, would be opposed to saving Aerith; when the characters themselves, Tifa included, would fight tooth and nail to save her? Surely we can see how strange that is, right?

I don't want to sound rude, but it blows my mind that there are people who genuinely believe the only reason the FFVII Remake trilogy exists is because the writers didn't like who the main character ended up with IN THE STORY THEY WROTE and decided to make 3 games to change that.

Square Enix chose Clerith just like they did all the way back in 97’ and no amount of Tifa fans whining is going to change that fact.

I guess Aerith saying “Forget about them” made Cloud’s heart skip a beat because his heart had already raced once when she sat so close to him. How could he not feel something when she was practically telling him to focus on just the two of them? 😭

Cloud wanted to know if Aerith meant the same kind of “couple” he was thinking of, so he used the others as an excuse to ask. And when she basically confirmed it with "forget about them (focus on us only)", he got all flustered and couldn’t even get his words out. LMAO HELP 😭💗
