This probably shouldn’t annoy me but it does. @YorksAmbulance front line, including #NHS111 will be working Monday, of course they will, so will other emergency services, they’ll be busier than usual. Not quite the rest of the nation then! Their respect is in their service.

6th rostered day at work since last Monday… oh and 4 nights at the end of this week 🤢🤢#emergencymedicine #ED #ACP

I don’t know who needs to hear this but there are other potential sources of sepsis than the chest and urinary tract

I want to be as sensitive as possible here, but the withdrawal of life support from Archie Battersbee is the right decision and to accuse the NHS of a choreographed execution is cruel and unnecessary.
A patient with stroke within the treatment window requiring a blue light transfer waiting >120 mins for a ‘18min response time’ makes me feel sick as a dog. This shows how much pressure the system is under 😣 explored every avenue to get him there ASAP 😔

Why does this matter? The 'official' 12 hour waits data published by NHSE are the headline figures used by mainstream media when covering the urgent care crisis.
It means the public are still not being told how bad the situation in urgent care really is.

Started the day with every intention of staying on plan then the nursing station was full of snacks 🫣🫠

Another top session last night, great to see everyone down at Turney, followed by a well earned trip to the @thehalfmoonpub. Many new faces and a lot of hard work, feeling sharp ahead of the new season 🏉🏉 keep spreading the word, we’re always on the lookout for new players.

I don’t want to leave, but unless someone does something serious about fixing social care/exit block soon, I don’t think I can handle it much longer 😢
Having more and more days where I leave work with a feeling of not wanting to come back.

8 in 10 shifts lack enough nursing staff to keep you safe. A crucial way to recruit and retain enough staff to the profession is through #FairPayForNursing.
It's time to tell ministers enough is enough – years of underpayment must end, for the sake of the profession and public.

Couldn’t be more excited to see this published!
Incredible to see so many EM ACPs take the time to both champion the study and complete the survey.
Thanks to everyone involved - very proud to be part of such a great community of professionals.
