Well that’s a wrap for bean #harvest26. Not the most efficient harvest for acres per hour but we had a blast! I can see getting replaced in about a decade.
Last night of bean wappin’ for the year, 12 acres to clean off tomorrow for our @OntarioSoilCrop group then onto corn for next week. #harvest26
Great job on this one Dougy, hundreds of miles of this stuff buried and thousands of poles but word has it you guys ran out of $$ before any wire was ran in this area. Maybe my info is way off but what a classic waste of tax payer $$ this internet project is.
Maybe my luck is turning around. I knew I left these on the rear combine tire, figured they were long gone. Guess that VF technology is pretty good eh @Ericoktire2004 !
Well time to try these greedy beans. One thing for sure is an air reel would be a super help for these little guys. Where they’re up to your shin and feed decent there are some beans there!
Finally getting some bonus harvest time in. This week has been wet and frosty by now. The finish line is getting closer on the beaners! #harvest26
Are we saving the planet by using this stuff? Not even halfway through my first harvest with a def combine and I’m already sick of pouring this stuff down the hole.
Thought I smelled something a bit fishy when I got out to tarp a wagon. Nice little chaff fire started with a bad bearing. Guess there’s some wrenching to do in the morning while it dries off.
On the down are strokes of another beautiful harvest day. Lots of dust in the bean crop now making it tough to see. #harvest26

Beauty afternoon to get back at some soybeans. Drones wheat seed has a good catch in most areas, will be interesting to see if it’s worth keeping in a couple of weeks. The nice warm stretch should help put some tillers on
Does anyone out there have some nice drone imagery for fungicide applications via drone this year that you would be willing to share? @drone_spray @Spray_Guy and I are looking for examples of different application parameters and how the results turned out for meetings this winter
For all of you whale tail case guys, in tough straw my current settings push too much coleslaw to the outside of my spread pattern. I have everything set for max speed and max width. Any tips?
About $570 for a set of fuel filters for my combine, unreal what parts prices are. How many run non oem filters and find no issues? A paper cartridge was over $200 and the steel water separator over $350. Prices are absolutely out of control.
Left to their own devices the 9 and 7 year old came up with a great way to attach a little dump trailer. I think these kids are gonna be alright
Not sure this stuff is quite ready for the F word but hopefully it makes some good progress this week with the warm temps. A slow crawl to the finish line on this 101-33.
Greedy beans are trucking along just fine at this point. Seed quality looks quite good and should be ready to go in another 2 weeks or so. Hopefully just before we start into corn. Not sure what’s here but I’m glad I gave it a go!
Another beauty day cutting some beaners, will be over half of today goes as planned. Finally feeling like I’m settling into this new to me machine. #harvest26
