I don't get a vote for #mtghof under the new system, but if I were, I would easily include Sam Pardee.
Im sharing this because Im not sure all eligible voters are aware how proficient Sam is at deckbuilding/deck selection and I want spread awareness.
Every event Sam plays, I always try to find out what he played because I believe hes one of the best to ever do it, and it sets the bar on where I should start if im playing an event in a similar metagame.
I feel like he's sometimes under the radar in that regard because it's not always flashy, but it's always so clean. He's so good at leveling between a tempting brew and just playing the best version of the best deck.
It takes a lot of discipline when you've had success brewing to not rabbit hole yourself.
Of course, he's also an incredible technical player, great person and now has the results to get the votes. No brainer 🙌

T32 the Limited Championship Qualifier in Vegas but Lost first round of draft.
This card really dunked on me.
Years ago i played against a team of 2 known pros and someone I’d never heard of. The unknown would untap and look to his teammates before making any play. Don’t be that guy.
They did top4 the GP though.
The Unconventional Diner was also the best part of my weekend. This Crème brulée French toast was unreal.

If you're in DC for the RC this weekend, do yourself a favor and pull up happimap.com my sister in law made a website that shows you happy hours, live music, and good spots across NoVA/DC. Way better than arguing about where to eat in the parking lot.
