Great project undertaken by the trustees of the Charlton Athletic Museum. It's on the wall immediately outside of Charlton railway station. Well done guys.
Today my daughter, grandson & wife took me to Bluewater. 1st time I've been for over a year. Whilst browsing in J. Lewis bumped into Charlton colleague & mate @suthersuk. Had good chat before buying some new clothes. Was wrecked by time got home &went to bed for 2 hrs to recover.
After having two thirds of my stomach removed back in mid November due to stomach cancer I then underwent 6 months of chemo starting in January. It was a pretty awful 6 months, I was ill nearly every day of those six months, just the odd decent day here and there. Yesterday, my – at Hartlip, England
Consultant confirmed I was now free of cancer. What a relief to hear those words. Grateful to Maidstone Hospital & fantastic NHS staff who looked after me. Also big thanks to my family for support given to me throughout this period, especially my wife who was fantastic throughout. – at Hartlip, England
Thank you all for the wonderful messages of support. Feel truly blessed that you all took the trouble to think of me at this time.
Charlton family different class. Now off to St Thomas' so signing off for now but hope to see you all sometime in the future. God bless you all. x
Over the past month or so I haven't been feeling great. I then found out I have cancer of the stomach. I'm off to St Thomas' hospital on Monday & the following morning (Tues) will have 3/4 of my stomach removed. Hopefully when recovered from the op I will undergo chemotherapy as
unfortunately the Cancer has spread to some of my lymph nodes. Sadly I won't be at The Valley for some time, either to work, or even to cheer the lads on. I'm posting this not for any sympathy but just to let everyone know what's happening, as I'm receiving lots of messages from
Say No to the CPZ in Charlton. I've just signed the petition. Would be great if you could as well. If you do sign the petition please share it with others. Thank you.

Ready for my daughter's big day down at the Secret Garden nr Ashford. It's too hot to be suited & booted, and I'm now desperate for a 🍺.
Great evening at the Charlton museum yesterday. Congratulations to both Johnny Jackson & Lennie Glover (seen posing with KP), both of whom were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Congratulations also to Charlton Supporter of the Year 'Headphones Norm'.
Very sad to hear the news about Jimmy. He looked after me when in Spain with Charlton. Got food poisoning & was stuck in my room. He came in few times & made me drink something no idea what, but it worked. Lovely man who will be sadly missed . Condolences to his family & friends
Very sad to hear the news about the passing of our physio at @CAFCofficial Jimmy Hendry. A really funny guy whose company I enjoyed a lot 😔 🙏
Spotted this van outside the stadium yesterday. Whilst I might love The Valley, I don't think I'd want to live in a house with views of the ground.
Been invited by @Cafc1507 to be a guest @ChroniclesCAFC podcast Wed night. Reminded me that our team in control room thought of doing a regular podcast. Something like Tales from the Control Room, a lighthearted look at some of our more 'fun' days. Still thinking about it
This clip is absolutely brilliant.brilliant

So 2024 comes to an end, let's hope 2025 will be a better year, especially for our football club. With the odd exception here and there It's been a tough watch this year. Keep the faith fellow Addicks. Wishing you a very happy & prosperous new year.
Have a great Christmas everyone. I very much hope Santa brings you everything that you desire. Might see you on Boxing Day?
Half-ten yesterday a drug-addled guy in Valley Grove brandishing a machete. We persuaded him to hand it over & called police. We saw little of game itself, but 7 ejections & another arrest, time 4 home. Little festive cheer. A great team with me though. Welcome to Charlton!
Looking at that photo reminds me of a convo I had about 18 months ago with a long serving member of staff. They genuinely thought I'd given up the church to join the club. They said to me 'why did you give up being a 'pie & liquor to join the club'. How I laughed😅 .Me a vicar !
