Agreed.
Yammal is trying to prove he is the world's best.
Raphinha is trying to prove to everyone he is Barca's best attacking option.
Gordon is still unsure when to strike.
They were absolutely disjointed
As a single game , I am not really annoyed we lost.
But on the grand scheme of things I am pained because of the psychological effect it would have when next week face strong teams.
You need to win big games to boost confidence. PSG didn't need a win on Tuesday but they did.
When people say Gordon plays well I beg to differ.
Yes he distributes the ball well but poses zero threat in attack.

For context, @dayoisrael is the youth leader of Nigeria’s ruling APC, the same party whose president, Tinubu, is asking Nigerians to endure more suffering.
When a party’s youth leader can donate multiple Prados to party loyalists, you begin to understand why more Nigerians are turning against Tinubu and the APC.
If it’s not the First Lady dipping into what is possibly Nigeria's commonwealth to distribute billions in gifts, it’s the President’s son flaunting billions. Now, the party’s youth leader is joining the spectacle, practically telling ordinary Nigerians to eff off!
While Nigerians struggle to survive, the ruling elite are competing to see who can flaunt the most wealth. And they wonder why Nigerians are fed up?

I counted 7 of those Land Cruisers. At an approx. price of ₦160M per car, that's roughly ₦1.2B
Again, ₦1.2B from the collective commonwealth to mobilise party youth. While Nigerians struggles to buy petrol at ₦1,500, these criminals are splurging ₦1.2B on big cars.

Talk about misplaced priorities
Proverbs 22:29
“Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”
Messi has never been the one to go about saying he's the best. He just keeps his head down, does what he needs to do to get the job done.

Around a month ago, some Barca fans were chest-thumping on this platform, saying that if Messi acted like Ronaldo and constantly proclaimed himself the best, there would be no debate.
Maybe there wouldn't be, but we would've lost so much in the process.
Look at him. He represents something far bigger than football itself. The respect I have for him as a person is worth more to me than even my admiration for his football.
With most footballers, you admire their ability and that's where it ends. With Messi, you admire the person so much that you find yourself wanting to emulate his character. That's what makes him truly special.

Just caught up to the new episodes and what makes the Lanterns comparisons even more annoying is that this show is actually quite good and it sucks that nobody’s talking about it on its own merits.
