How about you spending two minutes researching Miliband's parents and finding out that they were part of the anti-Stalinist left? Neither were ever members of the CPGB. Stalinist regimes would have shot them.

President Trump standing in front of a dirty looking, brown reflecting pool, claims that he "did a great job" getting it cleaned up and working.
He also blames "vandals" for destroying it, after the contractors he hired to do the work admitted it was their own fault.

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.

Well, that's what GB News want you to believe, at any rate🙄
And we all know *who* we are meant to imagine is calling for this, right?

Here's a list of things @ReformDurham and @darrengrimes at @DurhamCouncil are considering cutting to try to plug their huge forecast £83.7 million funding gap.
£83.7 million.
Let's not forget that Reform UK made a marketing gimmick of raising council tax in Durham by just 1.99%.
So their only move now is to pile on cuts (on top of what they're already doing)

She handled things correctly, the moment she had a critical malfunction she called mayday, declared emergency and consistently updated ATC with her status.
Don't be a cunt.
It's so disappointing to see a clear TREND where pro pilots who should know better TALK on the radio when they should be flying the airplane.
AVIATE. NAVIGATE. COMMUNICATE.
Notice that Communicate is LAST on the priority stack. There's simply NO EXCUSE to be talking on the radio when you're descending at 20,000FPM. None.
Not just this pilot. Lots and lots of YT vids full of pro pilots screaming MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY to a controller who cannot possibly help them FLY THE FUCKING AIRPLANE, the job they are NEGLECTING when making transmissions like this. Children of the magenta line.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The transmissions were by the Pilot Monitoring crewmember (standard role includes ATC comms in two-pilot ops like this Learjet 60 while the PF flies); reported descent rates match ADS-B data from a sudden high-altitude upset.
