I have just discovered a simple tool in Adobe Audition and am going INSANE that I didn't know about it earlier!!
Using Audition Remix to recompose a music track, but need "that" beat to line up perfectly with "that" video frame? Since Remix always keeps the beginning and end of the clip, split the clip at that beat, remix each side, then line the two halves up for a perfect transition
