Adrian Colbert is an NFL safety and an incredible human.
He was one of the featured players during HBO's Hard Knocks with the @ChicagoBears and stood out to me for his interest in esoteric practices like breathwork, meditation, grounding, spirituality, and sound bathing.
In this episode, Adrian shares his healing journey, his experience with ayahuasca, why he gave up drinking, what it's like being a dad, and, in his words, why "self-love was the missing factor in (his) game."

Poles is right, @AdrianColbert27 is different. One of most well-rounded individuals I ever had pleasure of connecting with in my NFL time. Unique ability to connect with all different types of people. After he's done playing, a smart NFL team will hire him in some capacity.
#Bears GM Ryan Poles became very emotional when he had to inform Adrian Colbert that he was being cut.
As a kid, Colbert was hit by a car going 55 mph, leaving him in a coma for two weeks and being told he'd never play football again. He defied the odds.

“Hard Knocks” favorite Adrian Colbert would love to continue his NFL career but is also at peace regardless of where his journey goes next.
"I have a life outside of ball," he says. "I have a life that keeps me fulfilled. I'm grateful for that."
