This AirBnB saga is making one thing abundantly clear: Evergreen generational meme continues historic run
It's blowing my mind how many grown adults think it's unreasonable to ask them to clean up their own dirty dishes when they rent a house with a full kitchen.

Most people do actually want to see you succeed and do well. They just don’t want you to do better than them.

Fairlife chocolate protein shake has one main ingredient. Filtered lowfat milk. Every other item on the list is under 1%. The 26 grams of protein in the bottle comes from filtered milk, not from anything added. Regular lowfat milk is about 8 grams of protein a cup, so 14 ounces would give you around 14 grams. Ultrafiltration pushes the milk through membranes that hold the protein back and let the water and most of the lactose through, then the plant recombines it with more of the protein fraction. That's how you get to 26 with nothing on the list but milk. The under 1% group is the taste and the texture. Four sweeteners, monk fruit, stevia, acesulfame potassium and sucralose. Each has its own aftertaste, and stacking them at low levels lets each one cover for the others. Then carrageenan, cellulose gel and cellulose gum, three thickeners that keep the cocoa from settling and give the shake some body. It's about as clean as a protein shake gets.

The power of SS-31 & MOTS-c to restore kidney health is one of the most exciting peptide therapies that self-advocates are employing these days. The ramifications are massive on both a health and .gov debt scale. I cannot pound this drum loudly enough.
In general, I consider myself a peptide skeptic. I have never been blown away by the ones I have tried. On routine bloodwork back in early March, I was concerned about my kidney function. Decided to shut it down and cruise for a bit. I always have pristine bloodwork. After searching some peptide accounts I came across one from @BowTiedPeptide retweeting about a man reversing stage 3 CKD using MOTS-C and TB 500. I decided to give this a go because I was genuinely concerned about my kidney health. Never out of range but trending in a direction out of character for me. I ran MOTS-C at 1.5mg/day and TB500 2.5mg 2x/week. Results below. This is the best my kidney function has looked, ever! Was it the peptides? I don’t know but they certainly didn’t hurt. Interesting nevertheless.

⬇️Reversing Renal Failure⬆️ 6-7% of Medicare cost and 1% of the entire federal budget is consumed by End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients. I believe many patients' slide into ESRD can be reversed given the proper peptide therapy and hopefully I can prove it. Kidney failure is caused by four issues: diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune dysfunction, or acute injury. Hypertension is often associated with obesity and diabetes, so we are going to focus our efforts there. The stack I'm proposing has shown promise in reversing stage 3 chronic kidney disease (CKD) back to normal function in Australia. Once someone reaches stage 4 it's far more difficult to revert back to normal. I've added two other compounds I believe will increase the efficacy of the protocol. The Protocol & Why 1. MOTS-c (5mg twice/wk for 6wks)- CKD patients have reduced expression of MOTS-c and increased mitochondrial dysfunction.¹ MOTS-c's main mechanism of action is to activate the AMPK pathway leading to increased energy production, glucose uptake, enhancing insulin sensitivity, and most importantly reducing high glucose states. It's a systemic anti-inflammatory reducing oxidative stress that causes cell apoptosis and fibrous of the kidneys.¹ 2. SS-31 (5mg ED for 6 wks) The action isn't well understood, but it stabilizes the mitochondrial inner membrane where oxygen and electrons are exchanged and ATP is produced. SS-31 does not affect healthy mitochondria. It instead goes to damaged or weak areas. Protecting against reactive oxygen species leads to less peroxidation that damage mitochondria and causes fibrous of the kidneys.² 3. SLU-PP-332 (750mcg ED for 8wks) "The mechanism of action of SLU-PP-332 is to activate ERRs, leading to increased energy expenditure, fatty acid oxidation, and decreased fat mass accumulation.³" ERR agonist also reverse mitochondrial dysfunction and inflammation in ageing kidneys.⁴ Weight loss followed by administration of the compound would improve metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, thus implying kidney protective efficacy. This is a new compound and although no side effects were noted in studies implications of long term use are not yet known. 4. Retatrutide (titration to 2-5mg/wk) Aside from the obvious weight loss which directly effects kidney function. This compound improved renal function and suppressed pro-inflammatory cytokines and pro-fibrotic factors in the kidneys.⁵ I truly believe this stack would reduce instances of CKD becoming ERSD. It would keep patients out of in-center dialysis treatment, which is an absolute nightmare. Not only that, but the reduction to the federal budget would be significant. Many birds. One stack.

Since high dose melatonin discussion seems to be back on the docket Reminder, I wrote some articles on it
He takes 1,000mg of melatonin. As bulk powder. On purpose. And that's the least of it. This episode is the lab rat's rabbit hole with Richard, the researcher who runs everything through his own body before he'd ever tell you to. In this episode of Down to Health: - Why he calls melatonin the master antioxidant of the mitochondria, not a sleep aid - DNP, the most dangerous thing in the bodybuilding world, and what it was actually like - Where self-experimentation stops being a hobby and starts being a question - The five low-risk things he says anyone can do to call themselves healthy Hosted by @theNOBSdentist, @CalvinandNOBS, and @TJ_Bongiorno. The embodiment of the sovereign man. Lawrence of Arabia refused the British Empire’s attempt to define him as a hero, refused Arab leaders’ attempts to sanctify him, refused to be categorised continually rewriting himself, as scholar, soldier, saboteur, anti-hero, recluse. Unbound by convention or narrative. Once the story about you becomes fixed, you no longer own yourself whoever controls your story controls your psychological mapping how? Because the brain runs on predictive models it continually asks (and answers): ‘What kind of person am I, in what kind of world, and therefore what is plausible for me to do next?’ Identity is a generative prior (Narrative identity theory) you live inside a story that stitches your past, present, and future into something that feels coherent and manageable That story constrains: what you notice what you interpret as threat vs opportunity which desires feel ‘allowed’ how much suffering you’re willing to endure to actualise your ‘goals’ And, ultimately - who you are (or at least who ‘you’ present in the external) Your identity depends on your story. Your story depends on your identity. Both exist in flux. Both can be drastically altered. They are not mutually exclusive. They are inextricably linked. Act accordingly.
