1/2 @jumuiya the mandated @_AfricanUnion institutions and Uganda’s international development partners should demand for the establishment of an international Independent Panel of Eminent Persons to investigate the conduct of Uganda’s January 14, 2021 elections... #IStandUp4Uganda

All the actions by Mr. Museveni’s regime go against the spirit of the East African Community Treaty, the principles of the African Union as well as the provisions of the 2007 AU Charter on democracy, elections and governance: archive.ipu.org/idd-E/afr_ch….

...unwarranted restrictions imposed caused major disruptions to Ugandan and Ugandan business which rely on uninterrupted access to the internet services. The actions of Mr. Museveni’s regime are a flagrant violation of Ugandans and should not stand unchallenged.

Internet and Social media services have been fully restored. We apologize for the inconveniences caused, but it was for the security of our country. Let's be constructive, NOT destructive consumers/users of social media. @UCC_Official @UgandaMediaCent @MoICT_Ug
There's been a pattern in Africa where human rights violations are committed, no one is held to account for the crimes. Apart from 2007 situation in Kenya where there was a commission of inquiry. We are keen that the situation in Uganda is building towards that. #IStandUp4Uganda
