MPs approved housing levy despite protestations from Kenyans & then increased their budget by ksh2B due to 'CATER FOR ANNUAL WAGE DRIFT & EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTION TO HOUSING LEVY.
They also increased executive spending ceiling by ksh50B but retained judiciary budget as per BPS.

China lifted 850M of its citizens from extreme poverty reducing extreme poverty levels from 88% in 1981 to 0.7% in 2015.
China didn't achieve this through family planning but via sound economic policies & growth that created jobs, higher wages/incomes.
