🧵What I Learned at Microsoft
Last month, I left Microsoft after four wonderful years on the Office team. It was my first job after college (big decision) and I got lucky. Not everyone does.
Some of my learnings and experiences👇
A splash of delight in a grey New York morning. 👏 @joonasvirtanen
Surprised Gemini doesn't have links to share chats within your org yet. We would love it at Slack.
^tweeting publicly so that Product team can use customer feedback to get it higher up on the enterprise roadmap 😉
Coming to you live from Cupertino this Tuesday! It’ll be an honour representing the team’s work.
🚀 30 days. That's how fast Slack shipped the new iOS 26 Liquid Glass design.
We're one of the first apps to go live with the redesign and you can hear how we did it from Slack’s own Jaime DeLanghe and Akshay Bakshi at the @Apple Developer showcase on November 18.

Surprised that Apple doesn’t offer iCloud’s Hide My Email support in the Rewards sign up flow for Apple Wallet.
iOS 18.2 is out! And you can create Slack custom emoji with Apple Intelligence's Image Playground right on day one.
Try it on your iPhone or iPad ✨
The energy required to cancel a recurring meeting invite is exponentially higher than the energy required to create one.
Are any Apple intelligence features exclusive to iPhone 16 Pro? Is speed the main/only advantage over the 15 Pro?
Slack just got three iOS widgets! Tell us which other widgets you want 👂
- Status: Set your status from the homescreen. Medium size even has presets!
- Catch Up: See if you have mentions and jump straight into triaging
- Launcher: Lockscreen widget to go straight into Slack
Thanks for being patient with us 🙇♂️
Happy to report that the banner is now gone. Kudos to @AgentAkki & everyone at Slack for addressing this!
