Paints minis and plays games. Mainly Blood on the Clocktower. But also loads of euros. Stuff I say has nothing to do with anyone else.

And to anyone thinking "impact is more important than intent"... that may be true in many/most cases... but saying this in relation to autism is placing blame on a disabled person for their disability.

someone accidentally started a silent book club and I truly believe this could heal our country.
from tumblr: "So, here's a funny little story about how I unintentionally created a new social group in my town. A few weeks ago, I was at my favorite coffee shop, deeply engrossed in a novel. An older gentleman approached me and asked what I was reading. We had a brief but lovely chat about books. The next week, I was there again with a different book. The same man showed up, this time with his own book. We nodded, smiled, and went back to our reading. Week three: I arrive to find the man already there. He's brought a friend. They're both reading silently. I join them at their table, and we all read in comfortable silence for an hour. Fast forward to yesterday. I walk into the coffee shop, and there are TWELVE people scattered around, all silently reading books..."

Misogyny in medicine is focusing more on what a man might WANT than what a woman NEEDS. I NEEDED a hysterectomy and was told I wouldn’t survive pregnancy. “Informed consent” for surgery looked like this: “Don’t you want to be a Mom?” “You may want BIOLOGICAL children” /1 🧵

What's cookin', good lookin'? There's a new Minion brewing in the Clocktower laboratory. Boffin (Minion): The Demon (even if drunk or poisoned) has a not-in-play good character's ability. You both know which. The Boffin empowers the Demon to effectively bluff that they have a provable good ability, or confuses the town entirely by giving the Demon an ability that can secretly mess with the good team's information. Gone are the days of confirmed good players - you know that Reggie claims to have resurrected Patters, but is she really the Professor? Or is she the Demon with the Professor ability? You can find all the experimental characters on our Wiki - left hand side menu under Experimental - with all the information about their abilities, how to run them, tips and tricks, and a how-to-bluff section. New characters are released once a month in games on our Twitch channel and are recorded & up for viewing on YouTube, too! Join us on Twitch now to watch the Boffin in action -> twitch.tv/thepandemoniuminst…

Back for more Clocktower on the TPI Twitch channel, we're showing off the winners of the Lord of Typhon script competition AND revealing a new character!!! And there's probably also a GenCon stream starting just now if you need a warm-up! Too much or not enough? ;)

If you're even remotely interested in the continued development of Blood on the Clocktower, you're probably going to want to be around at midnight (BST) tonight. We're going to release a character that I think will be the most game-changing one we've ever created!

We played Harvest today and it was good! It's a neat worker placement with just four rounds and three actions per round, so very tight, but look at how cute it is as well! #boardgames
