The take that going from $0 to $100k is the hardest part, and it gets exponentially easier after that, only really applies to degens. For anyone with a normal risk appetite, it works the opposite way. The more capital you build, the less risk you're willing to take with it, not more. Turning $500 into $5k and turning $5M into $50M require completely different relationships with risk, and most people's risk tolerance shrinks as the number they're protecting grows, not the other way around. That instinct isn't a flaw. It's usually correct. The people who keep scaling risk linearly as their net worth grows are the ones who eventually give back the whole account. Preserving capital is a skill too, it's just a much less exciting one to post about.
the hardest challenge in crypto is going from $0 to your first $100k this took me like 1 year of multiple roundtrips back to $0 after 100k my first mil took me significantly less time, multi-mils even less the skill/experience one gains from turning dust into 6 figs is invaluable and grows exponentially once you do it

Been sitting with this: Robinhood Chain doing $600M+ in daily DEX volume and tripling TVL to $312M in under a month - as always it's a story about who's now one tap away from DeFi and not about the chain. 28 million Robinhood users just got Uniswap v2, v3, v4, and UniswapX built directly into an app they already use for stocks. With 0 bridging nor seed phrase anxiety, no separate wallet to download. That's the actual unlock, distribution to people who were never going to go looking for this on their own. Pair that with what prediction markets already proved this year, that a mainstream-friendly product wrapped in a familiar brand pulls in users at a scale crypto-native platforms never managed alone, and there's a real case this cycle's growth curve looks different from the last one. Yes, it's mostly memecoins on the chain right now. That's fine, speculation is usually the first tenant to move into a new building. If tokenized equities and RWAs start pulling real volume behind it, this is genuinely one of the better on-ramps crypto's had in years. Cautiously excited. Rare mood for me these days.

Tether just got its first full KPMG audit, unqualified opinion, they physically counted every gold bar. Good news for Tether. Rough context for KPMG. A thread 🧵

Three of these five picks lean on the same signal: bullish RSI divergence. Said it before, saying it again: divergence tells you where you might get filled, it doesn't tell you why the trade should exist. The hyperliquid:native call is the most interesting one precisely because it's the most honest about risk. Unlocks are real and ongoing, the vesting schedule runs into 2027, and the team's own core contributor allocation is still under a quarter unlocked. Waiting for a flush to $35 instead of chasing the pump at least respects the supply overhang instead of ignoring it. Worth remembering with any list like this: a target multiple back to old ATH isn't a thesis, it's a hope wearing a number. The interesting question isn't which of these goes 10x to old highs. It's which ones would actually deserve to.
Real-world asset (RWA) open interest on Hyperliquid reached a new ATH of $3.6B Total OI reached a new high for 2026 of $11B

running a large portfolio is not easy, and it's a huge responsibility you make consequential decisions daily, and like it or not, you own every single one of them. the wins and the losses. no hiding behind anything, no "the market did it" in the beginning the weight is heavy. later, carrying it just becomes who you are. put trust in yourself, anon

No crypto-native firm has ever sat among the banks clearing BlackRock's bitcoin:native ETF trades. A dozen firms handle that job today, all traditional finance. @wintermute_t just registered as a US broker-dealer specifically to become the first one that isn't. 🧵/1
Good morning, USA 🇺🇸 Wintermute USA is now an SEC-registered broker-dealer and FINRA member (finra.org) The registration marks Wintermute's entry into U.S. regulated markets and strengthens our coverage of institutional counterparties in the region

I rarely cover GameFi, most of it is the same reskinned P2E loop with a token slapped on top. @TheSandboxGame is one of the few that actually earned attention. It's been building toward this for years, and the Studio Beta launching August 12 is the moment the vision starts becoming real: AI-assisted tools that let anyone go from a raw idea to a live, playable multiplayer world in under two hours. No coding background required.

Open weight Kimi K3 performs at Claude Fable 5 level on 3D arcade games! We gave both models the same prompts: ✦ Pac-Man with four hunting ghosts ✦ Nokia Snake remade in 3D ✦ Retro space pinball table with real physics Outputs (thinking included): ✦ Kimi K3 (local, 8x B300): ~237K tokens, $0 ✦ Claude Fable 5: 92K tokens, $4.50 Every one of Kimi's tokens was free on our GPUs. Even via Moonshot's API the same Kimi run would be $3.60, still under Fable. Kimi held its quality against the strongest cloud model. Its snake is the liveliest scene of all six: soft shadows, floating dust, a flicking tongue, and a bot that checks it can still reach its own tail before every move. Fable's snake plays clean but looks flat next to it. Pac-Man is the closest call of the three. Kimi builds a fresh labyrinth on every restart and draws a live minimap in the corner while the red ghost tracks the player turn by turn through the corridors, and it even caught our bot on camera. Fable's maze answers with pearl pellets, +10 popups bursting over the floor and a wide-eyed cartoon ghost patrol. Fable won the pinball table: painted playfield art, a chrome ball that mirrors the neon lights, even little synth sound effects.
Releasing the model weights and technical report of Kimi K3. Kimi K3 is our most capable model: a 2.8T MoE model with native visual understanding and a 1M-token context window. New model architecture: 2.5x the intelligence per unit of compute, not just more params. Alongside Kimi K3, we're opening up more of the stack behind it — high-performance attention kernels, MoE communication library, and infrastructure for running agent environments at scale.
