One of my proudest achievements is planting 1500 live oaks across the farm in different spots. So far 1000 are still alive.
Was literally explaining the, "society falls when old men don't plant trees they will never sit under" to my neighbor (boomer) He said he didn't get it and why would he plant trees if won't be around to see them

Texas has an adult population of 24.1 million adults James Talarico only received 5.4 million votes Ken Paxton only received 4.2 million That’s only 40% of Texan adults voting. That means 60% of Texas adults feel like the system is so broken they don’t even bother showing up. What does that say about American democracy? And this is apparently an election that broke records in Texas as well. Dont let Democrats fool you the American people despise both wings of the Epstein regime

A neighbor wanted to buy a tractor and 2 years of drone usage. Paid in silver on a handshake. He got a Kubota M6-111 with some attachments and 6 sprays on 300 acre with our drone over the next 2 years. Great deal for him as he bought the silver 10+ years ago and great deal for me as I want all I can get. But, it’s a bad sign when farmers are having to dig that deep to keep operations going.

The only redeeming sign during the elections is that my fellow Carolinians have made it clear that you can’t just die and pass down your seat in government like it’s an aristocratic title. Darline Graham had no business on the ballot. Her opponent will be a shitty senator more than likely, but she won the position instead of inheriting a right to govern.

Who could have guessed that spiraling inflation, high energy costs, putting Tel Aviv over Washington and protecting child molesters wouldn’t have worked? Thank god we don’t have two parties that both support all that, or else we would be in a real mess…

Live Feed Alteration Software: Private cyber-intelligence contractors sell advanced software specifically designed for state actors. For instance, tech firm Toka explicitly markets to militaries and intelligence agencies worldwide, offering platforms that can locate connected cameras, tap into live feeds, and selectively alter or delete both live and archived footage.

Wish congress would make it a felony to push false information out during elections.

Our founding documents are pretty clear. The right to a weapon for purposes of defense is granted by God. The Constitution just says that the government may not interfere with this right. The ownership of private weapons is one of the defining factors between a citizen (a sovereign) and a subject. Now, sadly we have lost many other forms of sovereignty.
Controversial question, interested to hear your opinions?

“Your apathy is just as good to them as loyalty” WHO wrote this I need to know as I’ll be quoting this.
Someone posted: The ruling class doesn’t need you to think capitalism is good. They just need you to think any alternative is worse. Your apathy is just as good to them as loyalty.

In 1992, Douglas Coupland envisioned what North America would look like in 2092. Lots of funny details here. Interesting historical photos: bit.ly/3vlLOd6

The jokes write themselves sometimes
I think it's important for queer people to protect themselves in the safest way they are able. As a leftist, I'm a strong advocate for gun ownership and safety training. Yeah, you read that right. If you go far enough left, you get your gonna back. While we do have firearms in the house, they stay locked up in my closet. This is Bernie the gas powered Blicky. A Byrna. My home defense weapon of choice, and the safest way for a home full of depressed neurodivergent folks and kids to feel safe in an uncertain world. If the blue laser and 1000 lumen light in the face doesn't deter someone, and the first round of pepper spray/teargas combo doesn't stop someone, the four steel balls that follow certainly will. If that doesn't stop someone, then we've got backups that go bang, and they certainly will. It won't unalive anyone, but if somebody takes a couple hits they're going to wish it had for long enough to get away.

So fucking true. I don’t understand why people hate on jews for charging interest. I’m always like: well then who the hell is going to lend money to people if they can’t charge interest? There’s no financial incentive and then your economy will just get beat out by anyone who does allow interest. Interestingly the more you look into why Hitler was blaming the jews for Germany’s problems, it turns out that Hitler very strongly believed in protectionist economics.

MAJOR U.S. BANKS DETECT UNAUTHORIZED AI AGENTS ACCESSING CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS — AXIOS Major banks, including $JPM, $BAC, $MS and $WFC, are confronting security risks from third-party AI agents accessing customer accounts, according to Axios. Some agents have reportedly attempted actions beyond user instructions, raising concerns about unauthorized transactions and fund transfers. Morgan Stanley has begun blocking third-party agents, while JPMorgan, Bank of America and Citi are restricting access. Banks warn they cannot reliably distinguish legitimate user activity from autonomous AI agents, even when customers have voluntarily shared their credentials.

People were famously not sick 80 years ago…
Maybe the reason we switched from copper pipes to plastic pvc pipes is not because it’s cheaper but because copper has natural anti microbial and bacteria killing properties. Can’t have people not getting sick can we?

Since many women are now openly bragging that they’re aborting their babies simply because it’s a boy, when does it become murder? Or is the baby’s gender also considered part of your body and therefore your choice?
