I have a love-hate relationship with the person I become when I’m competing
I get so laser focused on winning that I struggle to think about or do anything else
Winning becomes so important to me that every other part of my life starts to suffer
Obsession is all I’ve ever known. I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing, but it’s who I am
I’ve spent the last week doing everything I possibly could to win this vote, but in the end, I simply did not have enough pull
As much as I hate losing, I also know how fortunate I am to have people who genuinely believe in me
To everyone who voted for me, to all my friends who helped run activations in their communities, and to everyone who rode with me until the very end, thank you
I may not have won, but I’ll never forget the people who showed up for me
