A 19-year-old Miss Universe Uganda 🇺🇬 2026 contestant, Kimberly Jael Aremo Acio, is going viral for her striking natural beauty and short natural haircut.
Representing Kole District, she has reached the top 15 of the national pageant and is gaining widespread attention across African social media.
Beyond the competition, she leads an anti-bullying campaign in local schools.
The winner will represent Uganda at the Miss Universe pageant, where the country is expected to make its debut.

My friend Koech has been saving for the past five years to buy an apartment in Nanyuki. After the maandamano of 2024, he decided he wants to raise his family in a more Christian environment where they can learn the Bible.
At the start, he and his wife discussed it, and she was okay with the idea. He even gave her a choice between Nanyuki and Kiambu. She chose Nanyuki, and he got to work.
I met up with him last weekend. He was very depressed. I asked what happened, and he said that his wife has refused to make the move after everything he has done. He is even contemplating divorce, citing betrayal after 11 years.
Do you think this necessitates grounds for divorce? And ladies, would you follow your husband, or would you tell him no from the start?
