Our volunteer day.
We discussed lots of stuff about finding new permanent home for Akwaaba. Making our activities run until we will find a new permanent home.
Lots of the volunteers came and we enjoyed eating a lovely dinner together.

Today we're launching our Xmas Crowdfunder! We're raising vital funds to sustain our work and continue making a material difference in the lives of migrants. For the next 6 weeks, all donations up to £250 will be matched, please donate and share widely! 👇avivacommunityfund.co.uk/p/h…
Hi everyone, I thought to share some of our art workshop today at Kilburn high street ( we have done some painting inspired by writing about women rights).
At Akwaaba, we believe that no one is illegal and we believe in a world with no borders.
We're inspired by the work of @NadineElEnany. Here's a thread on the thesis of her book (B)ordering Britain: Law, Race and Empire.
Happy Sunday! 1/6
