Quedan 10 días para que se anuncien los partners y aún no hay ni un leak.
Todo el tier 2 está pendiente de esto y en el 99,9% de casos no hay nadie moviéndose.
La situación cada vez es más precaria y Riot sigue en pausa, tranquilos, con el mundial.
La temporada empieza en noviembre y aún no se sabe el formato al 100% de lo que va a pasar.
La verdad que el ecosistema que lleva planteando Riot durante estos años es insostenible, cada día hay menos organizaciones y menos competidores.
En cuanto al juego, sigue estancado, bueno, te diría incluso que en declive.
Las rankeds no son nada cercano a una experiencia competitiva, ya no por los compañeros, que lo entiendo, si no que ni si quiera se pickean personajes que se usen en competición.
Nunca vas a ver una Clove o una Reyna y aun así, son los dos personajes más pickeados.
Por si fuera poco, los cambios que han hecho desde champions parís en el meta game han hecho que el juego sea mucho menos disfrutable de ver y menos competitivo.
Hay que cambiar muchas cosas porque claramente todo esto ha afectado al nivel de champions y en mi opinión, es el peor evento de la historia en cuanto a nivel.
Relativizándolo claro, si lo comparas con el nivel del resto del año es horrible y eso que en los otros dos eventos el meta dominante era el Doble duelista.
¿Por qué ha bajado?
Porque la amplia mayoría han llegado aquí con un meta MUY diferente al que se juega en champions y obviamente, te pasa factura.
El año que viene puede ser el mejor año del Valorant, como lo fue el 2022, ahora, hemos perdido muchísima gente que miraba este esport, los hemos perdido por el camino y recuperarlos va a ser muy difícil.
Si ya era complicado explicarle a alguien este sistema con franquicias, el año que viene va a ser todo un reto explicar los qualifiers de los qualifiers.
Confío en que reconduzcan la situación, pero que cada offseason sea peor que la anterior no tiene sentido.

Once again, I feel really lucky. But I have to be honest;
We have been a bit overwhelmed with the response, and I mean it literally.. it feels like we’ve spent our whole time fighting bottom feeder cheaters and constant DDOS attacks…
On top of which, with the sheer amount of physical and mental exhaustion from the last few weeks.. we decided to take a bit of a reset- not everyone but a good chunk of the team have been forced to use holiday this week. Thats why we’ve been “officially” quieter.. during said holidays, most people had to work a fair bit!
I hope you don’t see this as resting on our laurels but instead see it as us finishing a sprint and taking a breather to prepare for a marathon.
We feel a bit out of control with how big things have gone and how much extra security we have been forced to do. But I still believe in our plan and ask you to believe in our team.
The next part of this journey is going to get spicy, we wont have fixed everything, people will begin to say we aren’t listening, you may even see people start to panic about player count!
But we’re here for the long haul, we’re in a position where we can try make 1.0 and beyond exactly what we want it to be, no compromises, that’s the dream right?
Thanks for all the support, we won’t always get it right and we haven’t on this first balance pass.. but we will change it every season to keep it fresh and to keep trying new things.

La cinemática alternativa de Sif es uno de los mejores momentos de la saga Souls.
Para verla, debes alterar el orden cronológico del juego: completar primero el DLC antes de enfrentarte al lobo en el presente. Al hacerlo, el tono de este encuentro cambia por completo a través de pura narrativa visual.
Tras saltar sobre ti, Sif se detiene al reconocer tu aroma como el héroe que lo salvó en el pasado y honró a su compañero Artorias. Tras un doloroso gemido de tristeza y un cambio radical en su mirada, el lobo retrocede, aúlla al cielo y toma la espada de su amo para prepararse, a su pesar, para la batalla.
La batalla es inevitable porque ambos personajes están atados por el deber: Sif custodia el anillo del Abismo no por maldad, sino para protegerte y evitar que sufras el mismo trágico destino que su amo Artorias. El encuentro acentúa la melancolía del juego al contrastar tu percepción temporal con los siglos de dolor y soledad que el lobo ha soportado custodiando la tumba. Finalmente, el combate destruye el concepto tradicional de Boss Épico al transformarse en una dolorosa ejecución forzada, donde el juego te obliga a rematar a un amigo debilitado que cojea y apenas puede sostener la espada, convirtiendo la victoria en una asfixiante carga moral en la que dos almas nobles se destruyen por pura lealtad.
Es un momento tan triste y tan hermoso...

Hoy estoy encontrándome víctima de la AI psychosis, viendo cómo todos estamos asistiendo a un aplanamiento de la economía digital. Todos empezamos a ser capaces de hacer todo: webs, apps, animaciones, diseños, imágenes, vídeos, música...
El suelo sube, y uno pensaría que por tanto el techo subirá también: Si todos podemos hacer de todo, sólo destacarán quienes hagan algo de mayor calidad. Y eso podrá ser cierto, pero sólo si el público general sabe paladear y valorar ese extra de calidad, cosa que no tengo tan claro.
Si no, el extra de calidad a ojos del público no se diferenciará de lo que el resto de gente esté haciendo con mucho menos esfuerzo. El público no premiará el mejor contenido. El techo no subirá. Pero el suelo sí seguirá subiendo, aplanando la economía digital y a la larga convirtiendo todo en contenido generado automáticamente.

15 years. That’s how long I’ve been playing videogame for.
Across those 15 years, I’ve achieved the max rank in more genres of mainstream competitive videogames than anybody else in the world, ever.
MOBA’s, MMO PvP, auto-battlers, card games, strategy games, and literally every type of shooter ever: TacFps, arena shooters, hero shooters, battle royale.
Every genre of videogame I have ever touched, I have never not reached the top%.
I have never given up, I have never failed. No genre has been able to get the best of me.
Now, all of that is subject to change.
The two mainstream genre’s I have never touched, 0 seconds of play-time, happen to also be widely regarded as two of the most difficult of all.
Fighters, and RTS games.
Today begins my journey into fighters.

I don’t know how long this will take me. 0 seconds of playtime was no exaggeration, I literally have never played a fighting game in my life.
I don’t know how difficult this will be. Fighting games aren’t like other competitive games. There is nobody else to blame except for you. The ultimate skill diff.
I only know one thing for certain. I won’t give up.
I will become good at fighting games.

The war has me thinking about esports in a different way.
When there’s real conflict in the world, everything gets harder, travel, planning, sponsorship budgets, brand risk. It forces you to look at what’s actually stable in this ecosystem.
EWC is getting bigger and more central to the calendar. Payments to teams keep getting tighter, even though teams carry the year round costs, players, staff, facilities, travel, community.
One thing I worry about is dependence. When a single source of capital becomes the centre of gravity, everyone starts leaning on it, publishers, teams, players, streamers. That changes incentives, and it can crowd out other ways of building the ecosystem.
So here’s my question. Is this kind of funding helping esports grow, or quietly doing long term damage to the fundamentals that make it sustainable?
