1/ Russian commanders desperate to fulfil a likely order from Putin to take the Ukrainian town of Dobropillia before Christmas have released a video of Russian soldiers walking in the streets as 'proof' of its capture. It turns out to have been filmed 20 km away. ⬇️

WAR CRIME. Can anybody advise on the appropriate channel to submit this as evidence? I have the entire attack on a power station on video, just by chance. For obvious security reasons, restrictions prevent me from publishing it. The footage shows what appears to be a multilayered attack on an energy facility, and I believe it could be important evidence. DM me👍
Several explosions as Russia obliterate the power station in Dnipro on the left bank. Ongoing, Secondary Explosions and now jet drones.

It happens exactly when a world scale criminals feel encouraged by being called humanitarians. Punishing criminals instead - you avoid them being bold and encouraged enough to attack also Your sovereignty.
An utterly horrific Russian attack on the settlement of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region. Since this morning, the settlement has been hit several times by aerial bombs. The strikes targeted a school used for humanitarian purposes – people were receiving humanitarian aid there. After the first aerial bomb strike, there was a double-tap strike with nine more bombs, specifically targeting the shelter where people were taking cover. Tragically, 18 people have already been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Five people have been injured. A rescue operation is underway at the site, and the search for people continues. It is extremely difficult. Military forces, first responders, and special services are involved. The Russians could not have been unaware that every week, local residents who had remained in Komyshuvakha received humanitarian aid at that very location. And this is further proof that Russia wants no de-escalation and no real justice. After the humanitarian operation in Oleshky, there was a moment when the next steps could have shown that progress toward peace was possible. With these killings, Russia is sending an entirely opposite signal: Russia is counting on more killings. There must be a response to this – a response from the world. A strong and tough response. A response to Russia. And support for Ukraine. We must protect lives. Thank you to everyone who is helping!

I’m not there and I’m not reporting from the scene. But since last night I’ve been reading pretty much everything I could find in Ukrainian and Russian, watching the videos and talking to few military friends. It was now established, the people held in that building were not civilians grabbed off the streets for forced mobilization. They were military personnel who had deserted and agreed to return to service rather than face prison for desertion. Now, a few things about the people outside the building really caught my attention. First, the woman presenting herself as an ambulance worker. It was quickly established by Ukrainian journalists that she doesn’t work for an ambulance service and the private company she claimed to represent doesn’t appear to exist. She’s is the source of the stories about “torture chambers” and a “broken spine”. Then there’s the young guy who was brought out of the building looking absolutely horrifying. Except that a few minutes earlier, you can see him climbing the fence, filming himself, screaming insults at military personnel, throwing things at them. Apparently he then fell from the fence into the compound and was taken inside. On one of the videos Budanov asks him: “What are you doing here? How did you end up here?” “I came here with the guys, he says. And then there are those one or two voices you can hear in almost every video. Every time someone from the military comes out and tries to calm things down and answer questions, these same voices start shouting insults and trying hard to turn it into a confrontation, screaming phrases like « you torture people » etc. Look, mobilization is one of the most painful and controversial issues in Ukraine during this war. Could Ukraine fight a war of this scale with volunteers alone? I genuinely don’t know. I’m not an expert and won’t pretend I have arguments about this. But that’s not what this particular episode is about. Watching it spread everywhere, especially through accounts that constantly push anti-Ukrainian narratives, I wanted to understand what happened. And the more I look, the more it seems someone found out where deserters were being held and decided to put on a show. Quickly, cheaply, with a few very active badly prepared characters and plenty of cameras. Can I prove it was organized? No. But the details are strange enough to question the story being sold on X. And while this whole episode is being shared and discussed everywhere… 29 people are reported dead after yesterday’s Russian bombing of Komyshuvakha. Another 48 are missing. 29 dead. 48 missing. And somehow this is barely a story. Of course we should talk about mobilization. Of course we should investigate abuses by Ukrainian military authorities. Nobody gets a free pass because there’s a war. But look at the difference.A few videos, some unverified accusations against Ukrainian soldiers, and suddenly everyone is outraged. Everyone has an opinion. Everyone wants answers. Russia bombs Ukrainians. People are killed. Others are missing under the rubble. And where is that same outrage? That same obsession with every detail? Apparently, the possibility of a Ukrainian soldier being a criminal is more interesting than the certainty of Russia killing Ukrainians.

The school was equipped with bomb shelter classrooms, and when there were no classes, it could shelter people receiving humanitarian aid. But the Russians targeted it with multiple aerial bombs. And they did so in a double tap to target first responders too. This is terrorism
The words can't describe this horror. 18 people were killed and five others injured in russian airstrikes on Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia region. The strike targeted the school where humanitarian aid was being distributed to local residents. After the initial attack, russian forces dropped nine more aerial bombs, including particularly on a shelter where people were taking refuge. Rescue operations and the search for missing people are ongoing.

This is what russian terror looked like tonight. Dozens of ballistic missiles. 50 guided missiles. Hundreds of attack drones. A massive assault on Ukrainian cities and civilians. And the most frightening part? The world has already gotten used to it.

Francis is an excellent journalist. This is worth reading if you want to understand what happened last night in Kyiv.
I was one of the only foreign journalists present at this evening's clash at the National Guard facility in a suburb outside Kyiv. Here's what you need to understand. Long and difficult thread.

A Ukrainian brigade that was losing positions a year ago now leads the army at getting its soldiers back. The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade cut unauthorized absences by 70% over the past year and ranks first in Ukraine's Ground Forces for troops returning to the ranks, the 3rd Army Corps said. In 2025 the brigade could not rebuild fast enough. Its battalions were fighting as scattered groups and losing ground. In November last year a new command team took over, led by a commander with the callsign Cherkas, and folded those scattered groups back into units. It is the second such turnaround in a month from the 3rd Army Corps, the formation founded by Azov, whose bet on technology and on letting junior officers decide rebuilt the 125th Brigade from 17% of its established strength into a spearhead of Operation Vivaldi. 🔗 euromaidanpress.com/2026/11/…
