I can not quit watching people dancing in the streets of Serbia and Brazil.
1/ 🇷🇸🇷🇺 Vučić just lost Serbia. russia’s most useful Balkan ally called a snap election to cling to power. Students who spent 2 yrs in the streets crushed him. Moscow spent a decade buying influence with cheap gas & political cover. Europe didn't oust him. Serbians did.

Replying to @RBlumenstein
@RBlumenstein knows the value of putting in the work as a journalist. The CFR member and president of editorial at NBC News built her career by starting small, covering local and regional news in Florida and Michigan, before making her way to national news organizations, including the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. With the news landscape under enormous pressure, Blumenstein says she remains optimistic about the future of journalism. “I think that trust is so important, and I believe that a lot of consumers are realizing that there’s a lot of misinformation out there." "My biggest advice, especially to young people, is to do your job, but also be someone who your boss is happy to see because they know you’re going to take the initiative and be the closer who will help carry things across the finish line," Blumenstein says.

What is so repulsive about his posture is the contempt, the sheer, absolute contempt. He puts on a Maoist uniform and seems to take an almost perverse pleasure in being seen dressed like a man responsible for the deaths of millions. A genuine psychopath.

This is amazing.
Amazing how Ziwe gives Hasan a harder interview than any journalist who’s ever written a profile of him.
