Today, we gathered at the Alabama Fraternal Order of Police Fallen Officer Memorial Service to honor the brave men who gave their lives in the line of duty. These officers were not only guardians of peace and defenders of justice, they were fathers, sons, brothers, and friends.

Today, I joined for the @AlabamaStateFOP Fallen Officer Memorial Service to pay my respects to the four Alabama heroes — and their families — who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Each officer will always be remembered. Alabama will always back the blue. 💙#alpolitics

I was thinking about what I could post for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and I came across this. Jay did a lot in a career, then came back part time and is still contributing immensely. But this is what the world rarely sees, we all have had a moment like this. 💙 #Respect

.@james_fop: Evil exists in our world, and as long as that evil exists, we’re going to need somebody who is willing to charge in to the gunfire. What we saw yesterday were brave men and women, first responders, who literally ran in to gunfire as they were taking it and went in to stop the threat from spreading any further.

“No longer will Washington be soft on crime.” — @SpeakerMcCarthy
“Dangerous” is the only word to describe the crime bill the D.C. City Council fought so hard for.
As a result of the bipartisan opposition to the D.C. Crime Bill, Congress took unprecedented action to reject this pro-criminal bill (something they haven’t done in nearly 30 years).
Thank you @SpeakerMcCarthy and @Rep_Clyde for your leadership on this issue! #BackTheBlue
