Israel deserves a future built on democracy, equality and peace.
Ahead of tomorrowโs elections, the Party of European Socialists (PES) stands in solidarity with The Democrats, our associated member party, and its leader, Yair Golan.
In a joint letter, PES President Stefan Lรถfven and Secretary General Giacomo Filibeck expressed their support:
โA democratic, liberal and progressive Israel, grounded in the rule of law and respect for the fundamental rights of all its citizens, is essential to the countryโs future.โ
