Ghroth the Harbinger (The Tugging) by Arianne Elliott Ghroth is an Outer God from Ramsey Campbell's short story The Tugging. The Hellstar from Junji Ito's manga Hellstar Remina was heavily inspired by Ghroth. Many similar traits. Both stories are fantastic.

A concept of a location in Maries of the Valley. The scene combines pixel art with low-poly 3D models. In the foreground, we see a villager's house surrounded by the wheat fields. Its roof is made of wheat. The walls are painted with poppies, and the real ones grow in front. Something glows in the window, casting light onto the pot with an orange flower. In front, there are two pumpkins and a rag doll hanging above the door. Behind the house sits a cart full of cropped wheat.

Time might or might not be speeding up … but time to support Issue #6 of our magazine is running out! We’re about 39% funded with 12 days to go. Please spread the word and help us get all the way there.

Yup. My husband and I bonded over our shared hatred of the industry. I was an internationally signed high fashion model during the Epstein days and he’s a musician. We now have a channel that supports indies so if everyone wants to help us out by subbing please do so and also DM me if you’re an indie who makes music, books, comics, movies etc. if you want to be a guest! So many hate Hollywood and don’t support all of the amazing indies so let’s make the change!! youtube.com/@ironseaspodcast…

Happy Birthday to American writer and poet H.P. Lovecraft born on August 20, 1890. Though he is now widely regarded as the most famous writer of the Weird Fiction genre, he never had a proper collection of his fiction published during his lifetime. What's your favorite HPL story?

🦑Happy Birthday to H.P. Lovecraft, born on this day in 1890. 🎂🐙 Lovecraft helped shape what we now call Lovecraftian or cosmic horror, where humanity is small, the universe is unknowable, and discovering the truth can be far more terrifying than any monster🦑 🦑His influence can still be felt throughout horror today. 🥳🎊🦑

youtube.com/@MorganScorpion/… Fancy a bit of horror? A ghost or two? I have vampires and werewolves, ghouls and sirens, and oodles of tentacled horrors from another dimension.

Something about the uncanny valley in Veggietales deeply disturbs me. We talk about abominable intelligences in machines, but Sci-Fi writers have yet to warn us of the sinister minds of vegetables.

During this month, 100 years ago, Lovecraft wrote his 'The Call of Cthulhu'. Though he described the tale as middling and cumbrous, it would prove to be one of his most influential pieces. Pictured is the first page of the typed-up manuscript.
