This game deserves to be released. I'm hoping they can find an angel investor to turn things around.
This is just so desperate and I'm glad no one in the comments is falling for it. You don't hate journalists enough.

People like Jason Schreier, a balding gremlin whose never been burdened with an original thought are who you should blame for Biowares shut down. He had no problem gassing up the studio just to "own the chuds" and they produced a mediocre game in response.
Activist journalists are a cancer eating away at the entire games industry.
Wow, they've even got a donkey in a lion suit.

Grok found me a bottle of Malbec I had a couple of years ago based on nothing more then a loose description.
Good Grok.
Preach brother.
The double standard around AAA game development is wild. Especially when it comes to Squadron 42 and Star Citizen
Why is it "let them cook" when Rockstar spends 12+ years and over $1.5B behind closed doors, but "it's a scam" when Cloud Imperium Games builds two massive games, one in wide open development?
Let's look at the starting lines for both companies.
1. Rockstar: 25+ years of infrastructure, thousands of veteran developers, dedicated mocap stages, and that development team with their own proprietary RAGE engine with years upon years of prior experience
2. CIG in 2012: Zero employees, zero studios, and an off-the-shelf CryEngine branch that was never built for space.
3. Rockstar tried the multi-project model at peak AAA fidelity and literally couldn't do it.
To ship RDR2 and GTA VI, they:
• Shelved Bully 2
• Canceled Agent
• Scrapped all GTA V single-player DLC
• Consolidated ALL global studios to focus on ONE game at a time.
Meanwhile, @CloudImperium took the insane (probably irresponsible at the time) route, simultaneously building the Persistent Universe (Star Citizen/MMO) AND a 40–60 hour cinematic single-player campaign (Squadron 42).
All while engineering brand-new tech from scratch: 64-bit coordinate positioning, nested physics grids, and Server Meshing.
Now let's look at the cost & timeline comparison:
• GTA VI: 12+ years of R&D, estimated $1B–$2B total budget.
• Star Citizen + SQ42: ~13 years, ~. $1 billion + crowdfunded across BOTH titles combined.
One gets praised for perfectionism. The other gets called vaporware.
Let's call the difference..
"The Black Box vs. Open Dev"
figured it was a good analogy...
Rockstar hides their scrapped code, engine rewrites, and pipeline crises, internal strife behind professional death sentence NDAs until a polished trailer drops.
CIG lets players play the alpha live (all bugs included) .
So You experience every bug and server crash in real time as the tech gets solved and. Continues To Grow and change .
CIG Is Now a studio with 1,000+ developers, custom server architecture, and a live universe played by hundreds of thousands every week that isn't a "scam."
Rockstar proves scale takes massive time and money. CIG just refused to hide the mess behind PR silence. Has the project been perfect?. Hell no.. But this doesn't change the principle of the comparison.
That's the price of crowd funding I guess.

Planet Zoo 2 has been great so far. Steep learning curve but the tutorial walks you through almost everything you need. I'll be interested to see if larger zoos run in to the performance problems that Planet Coaster had, I'm not quite there yet.
If this gets enough wishlists we'll get to see the gaming media lose their proverbial heads.

Live streaming these executions should become common place. Not for the sake of spectacle, but as a warning to others that there's no glory in their actions.
It's just a shame the public had to wait so long for justice.

I'm not giving them the benefit of doubt here. The studio that brought you land acknowledgements, trans flags and black lesbian asthmatics almost certainly brought you a Charlie Kirk assassination reference.
Disgusting studio. Can't wait to watch them go under.
The Gears of War gaslighting has begun. First they'll try to convince you that millions of people are playing it, then they'll denounce anyone that speaks out against it as a fringe minority (using terms like loser and weird.)
So if you're dumb enough to fall for that, good news. You're the target audience. The rest of us recognize it as ideological garbage that only exists so fake women and soy indulged men can pretend they've claimed some desperately needed territory in the culture war.
I'm not buying your woke trash and the only reason anyone will talk about your game in a month is to laugh at the inevitable layoffs that you sorely deserve.
