So lately I have noticed a divide in the art section of the Malfoid trend. I think the reason why there is such a divide between the participants in the Malfoid trend—whether art should lewd her up or keep her chaste—can be better explained using evolutionary psychology and Sexual Strategies Theory.
Men, when evaluating for a mate, have two standards: sexual availability (more important in the short term) and faithfulness ( more important in the long term). So let’s start by defining these terms.
Finding examples of women signaling sexual availability is not hard; just look for any OF account. This gives men a signal for a short-term reproductive strategy. It’s the woman you pick up at a bar for the night but would never dream of introducing to your parents at Christmas. This is what men recognize as a “hot” woman.
Meanwhile, faithfulness occurs when a woman signals a long-term strategy. Finding these examples is much, much harder in real life; part of it is also because this strategy avoids bringing attention to herself. But think of the girl who is saving herself for marriage, Arwen from Lord of the Rings, etc. A woman who carefully curates the man she is willing to be intimate with. This is a long-term mating strategy. This is what men recognize as a “beautiful” woman.
Currently, hoeflation (hotness) is at an all-time high and beauty is at an all-time low. The men yearn for the beautiful woman, to find a partner who shares their long-term strategy—that is to say, one who is worthy of marriage, even if they are unable to verbalize this, I think this trend is out way to express this desire.
This of course does not mean that a long-term strategy is sexless or has to suffer a cold marriage bed. Ideally, for men, the woman they choose is “a lady in the streets, a freak in the sheets” (which would be the best of both worlds). And to give the devil his due, this is what the “gooners” (not a pejorative, since that is what they call themselves) point out when criticized: they want to lewd art of Malfoid, making her both beautiful and hot—an idealized version of the perfect mate.
Yet again, sexual signals devoid of context undercuts Malfoid’s beauty and her fitness as a mother in the imaginations of the “Yerners” (participants pushing back against the lewd art of Malfoid), which is the point of this trend (“To make men yearn again”).
So what is the solution? Ideally, Yerners tolerate lewd art of Malfoid participating with Harry as the consummation of their relationship, while Gooners try to keep a standard by contextualizing their art in the romance of the story.
Maybe not all Yerners or all Gooners, but enough.
Will this happen? I would not hold my breath; this age is also an age of extremism and polarization, be it of purity or degeneracy, and none are willing to cede ground and treat each compromise as a loss. But one can hope.
Anyway those are my 2 cents.
Thanks for the indulging my tism.
Good night folks.
TL;DR: Men yearn for wives that love them, less so for prostitutes or wank material.
I saw someone essentially say that pornographic/lewd Malfoid fanart is good because sex is the point of romance. THIS, I fear, is another example of the way pornography has damaged people. 🧵
That idea misses the entire point of the Malfoid trend at large. To be fair, Malfoid has gotten so big it broke containment and now means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. That being said, I think the vast majority of those who enjoy this trend agree that Malfoid isn’t about sex, it’s about yearning.
To yearn for something, to long for it, is to deeply and often melancholically desire it. That sense of melancholy often stems from the understanding that whatever the object of your desire is will be difficult to obtain. Men are yearning for Malfoid because finding a woman like her is incredibly difficult, but she’s worth it. People are writing stories, making art, and changing themselves for the better in an effort to even get close to the feeling of achievement - to get close to her.
Making pornographic art in this movement cheapens all of this. The object of desire becomes not the woman, but her body. The way to express this desire becomes not hard work and effort, but masturbation. Looking at images on a screen and allowing yourself to be titillated will poison your soul against improvement, and you will seek to get your jollies off however you can rather than by becoming the kind of man worthy of a Malfoid, or the kind of woman worthy of a Harry.
Certainly, it is true that Harry and Malfoid are sexually attracted to each other. It’s also true that the vast swaths of wonderful illustrators in this movement depict Malfoid as sexually attractive. But Malfoid being sexually attractive doesn’t innately reduce her to the point of objectification.
Beauty exists, and Malfoid is beautiful. This aspect of her character is a virtue - it’s something that men often find lacking in modern women. To be fair, it’s also a quality that women find lacking in modern men, so there’s blame to go around. But that’s why people have started going to the gym over this trend, in pursuit of beauty.
Beauty may also easily be corrupted. Because beauty is a virtue, it goes hand in hand with other virtues - love, self-control, modesty, etc. - and if any of these other virtues are lacking in a person, so too does their beauty. Portraying Malfoid as a loose woman, exposing herself and engaging in all kinds of indecency, makes her less beautiful. It may make her “hot” or otherwise “sexy”, but this is a pornographic debasing of her. Those depictions are not worth your desire.
Malfoid is modest, in both dress and in mannerism; of course she is, as the heiress to the Malfoy name. And the people who get the trend don’t portray her as a ditz or an airhead, but as a confident, even prideful woman (it’s worth noting that such depictions have her putting down her supremacist pride in her bloodline and accepting her love for Harry, humbling herself, which is a virtue).
Keep Malfoid modest. Yearn for something greater.

Oh it's even better than that.
"On September 10, 2025 it was announced that the movie rights to Manacled/Alchemised had been purchased by Legendary Entertainment in a seven-figure deal."
I never want to hear SHIT about how men are ruined by porn or whatever. Women in the publishing industry and movie industry are literally selling body posession rape fetish fan-fiction content for seven figures. Men are not the issue here.

I've just learnt, while the boys are reading Malfoid rn, the girls were reading fanfic about Draco graping a mindwiped Hermione in a Handmaid's Tale repopulation program and it was republished as a legally distinct dark romantasy called "Alchemised" that sold over a mil last year

Screw politics, it's healthier to post Malfoid.
It's getting late again. God bless you all.

I guess I can say it now - so when applicants would apply to the studio, the producer would go through their LinkedIn to see what posts they liked, and if he disagreed with their political/social Like, he'd advocate not to hire them based on their Like.

My opinión in this matter can be sunmed up like this:
The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty
