Net loss of around a billion dollars from today's @binance hack seems like a large number and will be blown out of proportion by the media tomorrow. However, it's a tiny fraction of their AUM (<0.7%) and less than a month of revenues for them.
How did $TRX pump 10% in an hourly candle after news of the @binance hack broke?
Did @justinsuntron fund the hackers? 😂
BREAKING: World's largest crypto exchange Binance hacked with over $5.6 billion stolen:
• $1.45 billion $BTC
• $875 million $ETH
• $234 million $TRX
• $50 million $XAUT
• $1.57 billion $USDT
• $823 million $USDC
• $75 million $WBETH
• $88.5 million $RLUSD
+ $447.5 million additional cryptocurrencies
This is the largest hack in crypto history.
One Druck tweet is all it took for a 20% green candle on $HYPE.
Hyperliquid.
Tokenized stocks are going to drive a lot of the narrative and capital onchain this cycle, just as tokenized dollars (stablecoins) did last cycle.
Maybe next cycle it will be tokenized bonds.
Why is anyone going to buy an Xbox instead of just buying a PC in 2028?
Bearish for all console-based gaming companies.
BREAKING: Microsoft's, $MSFT, Xbox reportedly expects its next-generation console to cost as much as $1,800 and is currently targeting a 2028 release, per IGN.
A new handheld is also rumored to launch next year.
The @Tesla Roadster likely overtakes Ferraris/Lambos as the high-end performance car of choice when it launches
Roadster is a true pilot's car: active aerodynamics, a multi-mode suction system & cold-gas thrusters
Exterior
– Concealed headlights, full-length taillight & flush-mounted surfaces for a minimalist, highly technical form
– Super light wheels w/ thin spokes that reinforce structural strength when earthbound
– Ano White paint brings an aerospace-derived finish w/ UV & cryogenic protection, electrostatic dissipation & corrosion resistance
– Gold Glazed tinted glass mimicking the copper coating of spacesuit visors, w/ subtle titanium accents
Looks like @PacmanBlur told all his teams he's retiring and to shut everything down, or all his ventures ran out of funding. This is yet another sign that the era of NFTs is long gone and likely isn't coming back this cycle.
Papertrousers by @papertrade_xyz will be the Unisocks of this cycle.
$200,000 in revenue is what @papertrade_xyz has just generated in 40 minutes by selling 100 pairs of pants.
Next gen hardware wallets will have thinner and tighter enclosures to avoid this type of hardware exploit like the recent one affecting @Ledger devices sold through @cryptobilis.
At least they invested in RWAs (Lambos) with that money.
This looks like this could be exactly what I'm investigating. Anyone affected, please contact me or open your ledger and send me pictures so we can confirm if there's a bug in there (pictures: ledger board on top, spy implant below).

They could've done a series about a crypto founder who's not doing a 25 year jail sentence, but instead they filmed one about SBF. This is how @netflix keeps getting me to resub.
If an L2 is truly decentralized, it couldn't be shut down by the founders.
@PacmanBlur really speed ran this blockchain into oblivion.
Blast will be shutting down.
We launched Blast with the goal of building a self-sustaining chain for users and developers. Unfortunately, the economics of operating the chain no longer make sense: the ongoing costs of maintaining Blast exceed the revenue generated by the L2, and we do not see a credible path to making the chain economically sustainable.
As a result, we've made the difficult decision to wind Blast down.
We're sorry to the users and developers who believed in Blast, built on it, and supported the ecosystem. Our priority now is making the shutdown as smooth and safe as possible.
We're asking all users to withdraw their assets from Blast to Ethereum mainnet, including any balances held in the Blast PWA.
To make this easier, we will be reducing the withdrawal delay to 24 hours.
As part of the shutdown process, we'll first begin withdrawing Blast's Lido assets. This process is expected to take approximately one week. During this period, withdrawals will temporarily be unavailable, even after the withdrawal delay is reduced to 24 hours.
Once that process is complete, withdrawals will resume with the new 24-hour delay.
Users will have until October 26, 2026 to withdraw through the normal Blast interface.
After October 26, assets will remain withdrawable, but users will need to interact directly with the Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum L1. We'll publish detailed instructions before then.
We strongly encourage everyone to withdraw their assets to Ethereum mainnet before October 26.
Very interesting new competitor to $WBTC and $cbBTC, with the institutional credibility of @circle.
$cirBTC has a good shot at the top 3 of wrapped Bitcoin tokens.
Wrapped BTC is only as strong as the collateral structure behind it.
For institutions, the real questions are reserve separation, rehypothecation, redemption, and verification.
cirBTC is designed to meet that standard with 1:1 BTC backing, segregated collateral, real-time onchain proof of reserves, and a neutral issuer model.

The most amazing part about GLM-5.3-Flash is that it's extremely cost efficient. It costs about 3% as much as Claude Opus 5 (max effort) to run an equivalent task. @Zai_org has solid positioning on the Pareto line for a daily driver LLM.
Introducing GLM-5.3-Flash
- Leading capabilities at a highly competitive price
- Natively multimodal with a 1M-token context window
- A 320B-A18B model released under the MIT License
- Previously previewed as Ox Alpha, running entirely on Chinese AI chips
