We investigated the effect of different anions for piperazinium salts. We found and explained an anticorrelation of stability and efficiency (1.68 eV bandgap perovskite)
Good balance for PTsO with 96.4% of initial efficiency after 1000h ISOS-LC-1I

Our Perovskite/Silicon and Perovskite/CIGS Tandem solar cells made it into space with @esa Ariane 6! We are super excited about the results!
Proud to see our first Perovskite Tandems successful in Space onboard OOVCube 🛰️🛰️🛰️ Big thanks to Dr. Frese from Rapid Cubes & Prof Stoll @TUBspace as well as all collaborators @AlbrechtLab @HZBde @fufan6711 @Empa_CH and Kaufmann from PVComB uni-potsdam.de/en/pressrelea…
We had a great time at PSCO-2024 conference in Perugia with interesting presentations and fruitful discussions
This week our PostDoc Philipp Wagner is at @NREL’s Silicon Workshop. He presents our activities on 3-Terminal perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells
Congratulations Lea Zimmermann! Our PhD student won a prize for the poster with the best scientific contribution at the International TandemPV Workshop in Amsterdam (25 - 27 July).
Pareidolia!
(tendency to perceive familiar patterns, such as faces, in random objects or stimuli)
Say hello to our lab buddies!
Show us where you see faces in the lab!

Glad to have @solarerkan visiting @HZBde presenting pioneering work on perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells done @KAUST_KPVLab and his future research on perovskite for space @LMU_Muenchen
Congrats to our PostDoc Philipp Wagner for receiving the #SiliconPV Award in Chambéry!
He presented experimentally achieved 28.9% Perovskite/Silicon 3-Terminal Tandem Cells in conjunction with detailed balance limit calculations to determine the optimum bandgap pairing.
