"We have a unique opportunity here. Fragmented radio traffic from a remote site not on any records I can find. Whatever this is, it's not for us to know, and that's all the more reason we need to know. Radio traffic leads me to believe it's in disarray, something about 'the lights' and a distress call for a QRF.
I'd rather avoid the politics of waiting on approval for this op, so we're just going to get the jump on it. We go in, document what we can, recover any material, and get out before this QRF of theirs catches us in the act.
