Alcor is at the NFDA convention in Charlotte this week, booth 2847. It’s part of The Third Way, Alcor’s program for partnering with funeral homes so cryopreservation can be offered alongside burial and cremation. alcor.org/the-third-way/
On the heels of our Annual Strategic Meeting earlier this month, and with the finishing touches just put on our facility refresh, a bus pulled up to Alcor full of the brightest young minds in cryonics.
There is a special kind of energy when you put that much young talent in one room. The questions were sharp, the ideas were big, and more than a few of us walked away feeling recharged about the work ahead.
The most visible change in a year of changes at Alcor.
After a long run out front, Alcor's original building sign came down this week - and a fresh one with the new Alcor logo went up in its place.

As mentioned in previous posts, Alcor's office is getting a full makeover. While we dust off the facility's history, we've found a lot of neat relics and decor along the way.
The framed quote by the inventor of the first liquid-fueled rocket, Robert H. Goddard, felt especially apt.
Construction for our facility refresh has pushed most of the staff into makeshift offices, so Kaiya and Alyssa have been learning the ropes from Diane in the middle of it all.
