Let me share a heartbreaking story from Qarana-Kudo, Logo Anseba. A mere 16 years old, Yafet Yemane Gebremariam was brutally shot by soldiers from the tyrannical regime of Isaias Afewerki. His "crime"? Allegedly cutting a tree to make charcoal. In a chilling display of cruelty, his body was left exposed in a field, a haunting reminder of the regime's brutality. 😢🕊️
But the tragedy didn’t end there. In the aftermath of this horrific act, over 450 residents, including Yafet’s father and brother, were unjustly detained, caught in a web of oppression. 🚨⛓️
This inhumane act is a clarion call for change and accountability. It reminds us why our Blue Revolution team stands united against this oppressive regime. We are fighting for justice, human rights, and the dignity of every Eritrean.
