Young man from Hayward has impressive athleticsm and boasts great size. That broad jump really "leaps" out at you. Alex is coming off a big track season where he helped Hayward capture conference. Now he's capturing the attention of D1 schools. Keep on that grind, @Alex5DePew
I had a big day competing down at WIU yesterday! Measured in at 6’4 197, 40yd 4.83, 5-10-5 4.58, and broad jump 9’10. Had a great time slinging the rock🏈 as well as awesome conversations with @CoachJoeDavis @CoachTrevino_ and i’m looking forward to what’s coming! Thank you @KreczmerWIU for the personal invite!

Fantastic news for Hayward's @Alex5DePew - he's getting the chance to camp with D1 Western Illinois. Alex is coming off a good day at the WFCA Combine last week. What is scary is Alex was not even close to 100%. Show those boys down in Illinois what Sconnie boys can do, Alex!
Thank you for the invite @KreczmerWIU !! I can’t wait to get down there and compete!

Hayward High's @Alex5DePew had himself a productive day at the WFCA Combine! A broad jump of nearly ten feet and 16 reps on the bench stands out. Alex is tall, strong and mobile for a QB and has the arm strength to drive the ball through heavy winds and snow.
