Literal boomer vs millennial/genz experience
Luke Skywalker: No formal training. Walks into the first Jedi he meets and becomes a Jedi. Learns on the job. Anakin Skywalker: Recognized as a child prodigy. Full formal training. Constantly told he’s the greatest. Sent to do all the work while others sit on the council. Still denied promotion.

The @penguins beat the Flyers 7-0 in Philadelphia tonight. That's the largest road shutout in a season opener in NHL history.

Someone tell the folks at Democrats Win Action Fund that if they need help de-duping a list of phone numbers, I can give them a lesson.

Fetterman has shown up for all votes this week; this account hasn't

We've come together to share our stories (and screenshots 👀) to show Pennsylvanians exactly who their Senator is. Set your calendar for September 14th -- the day the Senate is back in session -- for our first drop. (Let's be honest, maybe the 15th: he'll skip Monday's votes)

I remember watching the events of 9/11 from my high school near Pittsburgh. The local news cut in to report Flight 93 crashing. I thought planes were falling from the sky and it was the end of the world.
A United Airlines Boeing 757, maybe Flight 93, has crashed near Pittsburgh. The cause is unknown.  One nearby farmer took this picture, the only on-the-ground evidence that the plane has gone down:

Adult Swim, a new adult-oriented block of television programming, launches on Cartoon Network. The block is characterized but its surreally humorous bumpers, featuring nonsensical cuts of pool scenes.

Call it the backlash to the backlash—Unions and building trades say they will oppose candidates attacking data centers, putting Democrats and other long-term allies in a pickle. W/ @lindsayaellis: wsj.com/economy/jobs/blue-co…

POV, you are a driver with Maryland plates inside the District of Columbia
Buckle up for a lap around the nation’s capital. Ride along the 1.7-mile Freedom 250 Grand Prix track, feeling every turn as you fly down Pennsylvania Avenue and past the Washington Monument, U.S. Capitol and Smithsonian museums. The first-ever INDYCAR race around the National Mall takes over D.C. Aug. 22-23, with Sunday’s race airing live on FOX.

Annndddd this is why @PerkinsRRP always says to never trust a poll you didn't pay for. We don't have to make up our numbers to get them right
NEW: The company behind a recent poll that showed Karen Bass with a 12-point lead over Nithya Raman for LA mayor & showed Bass collecting most of Spencer Pratt's prior support has admitted their poll was FAKE and was intended as a "social experiment" to see how a poll could spread in the media ecosystem without verification. The company, Median Strategies, also conducted a recent poll in Wisconsin that had socialist gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong up by 20 points. Hong lost her primary. It was all bogus. In 2001 George W Bush proposed a partial privatization plan for Social Security so you could put 10% of your SS contribution into the markets. People rejected this. We can now see that if it had passed, the 10% that went into the markets would have outperformed the 90% the government managed, the program would be solvent, and the average SS recipient would be receiving 2X what they currently receive. The worst bet you’ll ever make is betting on government.

I need @tacobell to explain to me why the quesarito is back for today only and not permanently. I know you have these ingredients in your store. Why can't you just arrange them in this order and sell it to me? I need answers.
