🎙️ Over 240 unused voice lines found in Resident Evil 4 Remake, Ada says “Bingo!” and Leon says “F... clown!” A new video shows 249 unused dialogues from Resident Evil 4 Remake, including Separate Ways: ▪️ 124 unused dialogues with audio from the main campaign. ▪️ 49 unused dialogues from Ada Wong in Separate Ways. These were first discovered through datamining in 2023, before the DLC was released, but never appeared in the final version. ▪️ 76 unused dialogues that only exist as subtitles, with no audio files remaining. 🔥 [EXCLUSIVE] 'LAST ESCAPE' mod developer can now create game-quality cutscenes! Development continues on Last Escape, a fan mod for Resident Evil 3 Remake that aims to restore cut content and bring the game closer to the original Resident Evil 3. The developer exclusively shared new details with us about the mod's progress: 💥 The Grenade Launcher from RE3 has been added to the mod, fully functional with all animations. 💊 Players can now get a First Aid Box as a drop from Nemesis after winning a fight against him, just like in the original game. 🪪 Jill Valentine will return to the R.P.D., where her S.T.A.R.S. card will be waiting for her. 🧠 Brain Suckers: Work on restoring enemies missing from the remake continues. The developer has successfully added Brain Suckers along with other enemies from the original RE3. 🎬 Perhaps the most interesting part is that the developer is working on new cutscenes for scenes from the original game that didn't make it into the remake. According to the developer, he got closer to making cutscenes that look as good as those in the remake, with character animations, camera movements, facial animations, and more. 👀 He has already shown us early versions of these cutscenes, and they look really promising! A new video showing his work on the cutscenes should be out soon. P.S. The developer says he doesn't use vibe coding or AI to decompile the game engine.

⚫️⚪️ Resident Evil Requiem’s developers designed Leon and Grace as contrasting characters in every way. Grace’s sections focus on horror, while Leon’s focus on action. Grace is a “timid rookie investigator with geeky tendencies.” With no combat experience, she was designed as an ordinary person who feels helpless and gets scared by even small things. Leon, by contrast, is an experienced agent who knows how to use a wide range of weapons. 🤓 Their appearance follows the same contrast, from their hair and builds to their clothes. Grace’s messy hair was inspired by “an eccentric detective’s hairstyle,” while Leon was given gray strands and a darker look to show his age and combat experience. The same contrast is reflected in their surroundings. Wrenwood is a “living city” where people still live, while the ruined Raccoon City is a “dead city.” Both locations were designed to further highlight Grace and Leon’s individual personalities. 🗣️ “We designed them with the aim of making their differences clear even if the whole image was turned black and white and reduced in size,” said art director Tomonori Takano.
